And a prime example of the same was seen last year, in 2020, when ace actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife, Aaliya had made shocking accusations on him. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the most talented and versatile actors. With some impeccable roles to his credit, he had proved his mettle in acting. It is not just his effortless method acting, but his humble nature too, that had won him millions of fans across the globe. But in the year 2020, when his wife, Aaliya had made serious allegations against him while demanding a divorce, the actor had kept mum and didn’t wash his dirty linen in public. However, in the recent turn of events, Aaliya revealed that she wants to reconcile with Nawaz and start afresh.
In an interview with ABP News, Aaliya, aka, Anjana Kishore Pandey revealed that she has been battling with COVID-19 and it is none other than her husband, Nawaz, who has been taking care of their kids. And seeing this caring side of him, the star wife decided to sort out their differences. In her words, “For the last 10 days, I have been battling the Covid-19 virus, which is the reason I have been living in isolation in my house in Mumbai. Nawaz, who is currently busy shooting in Lucknow, is taking care of our children Yaani Siddiqui and Shora Siddiqui.”
She also revealed that despite keeping busy with his schedule, Nawaz has been keeping a check on her and fulfilling all his duties as a husband and as a father. Impressed by him, Aaliya said, “Despite being extremely busy, Nawaz is taking good care of both our children including their education and other needs. Not only this, he often calls me and enquires about my health and needs. I am very impressed with this side of Nawaz and it touched my heart. Earlier, he was never able to pay attention to his children. Aaliya further stated that she and Nawaz are working towards sorting out their problems and are planning to begin everything afresh. Hoping her relationship with Nawaz will get sorted, she said, “Both me and Nawaz will try together to remove all the problems between us. Going forward, we will sort all the problems and misconceptions. We have been talking about this.”
After filing for separation, Aaliya in a conversation with Pinkvilla had made some serious allegations on Nawazuddin. She had alleged that she used to go for regular check-ups all by herself during her pregnancy days. She had said, "When I was pregnant, I had to drive all by myself for check-ups. My doctor used to tell me that I'm mad and I'm the first lady who has come alone for delivery. My labour pain started, and Nawaz and his parents were there." She had also added that her husband, Nawazuddin was busy talking with other girls during her pregnancy. In her words, "But when I was in pain, my husband is not with me. He was talking to his girlfriend on calls. I knew everything because there used to be an itemised statement of phone bills."
