The mention is of none other than Rockstar fame actress Nargis Fakhri. The actress has always been caught up in the gossip web as some time back she was rumoured to be dating actor Uday Chopra. The news related to their break up, patch up and even marriage have been doing the rounds for quite some time.
And now, it seems that the actress has moved on from Uday and is in love with someone else. Yes, as per the latest reports, Nargis has found love in American director, Matt Alonzo. So, April 17, 2018, it was Matt’s birthday and she made it very special for him. Nargis took to her official Instagram account and posted a picture with him. For the ones who don’t know, rumours of Nargis dating the American director started floating in when she posted a pic with him on Christmas 2017. Nargis posted a picture with him where they could be seen sitting in front of the Christmas tree raising the toast. Talking about Nargis and Uday, rumours were rife that the Naris intended to tie the knot with him, but the actor rejected the proposal. And just after that, the reports came about Nargis quitting India and Bollywood because of heartbreak. Later rubbishing all such baseless rumours, Nargis took to social media and wrote, “Looking forward to finishing my assignment in the US and being back to start promoting #Banjo in the next few weeks. #noplanstoquit #hatersgonnahate #allthesearebaselessrumours.”
Uday, on the other hand, also reacted to the rumours and was quoted as saying, “I normally don’t respond to gossip, but the press has been reporting a lot of fiction disguised as fact. I would just like to clarify that Nargis and I have been and still are very close friends. The press has done a wonderful job of creating stories out of thin air and I applaud their creativity. However, these are all untrue.” And even went on to tweet, “Hey @NargisFakhri remember when I said I don’t respond to gossip. Well, I just broke that rule. Had to do it!”
