Television actor and newbie daddy, Nakuul Mehta and his darling wife, Jankee Parekh got drenched in the rain and enjoyed their alone time in their garden. Jankee and Nakuul had left their coupledom phase in February 2021 with the arrival of their baby boy. However, the couple makes sure to keep the flames of love burning in their married life.
The coronial parents (couples who embraced parenthood amidst the pandemic), Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh love spending their time with their baby boy, Sufi. While their Instagram feeds have been cutely hijacked by their munchkin, they still find some time posting loving pictures of each other.
On May 17, 2021, Jankee took to her Instagram handle and shared a cute video with Nakuul Mehta. In the mushy video, we can see the duo getting drenched in the rain, dancing and singing songs while sitting beside a mango tree. Alongside it, Jankee revealed that it was her husband, Nakuul's idea to enjoy the first rain like the old days. Check it out below:
Jankee captioned the video as "Can’t remember the last time Nakuul and I got drenched like this in the first rains, listened to ‘I believe i can fly’ on the headphones whilst sitting on the bench under the mango tree in our garden, splashed water and did all the things that we used to back in the day. I am glad he insisted and I agreed."
On April 8, 2021, Jankee had shared a beautiful picture of herself. Alongside it, she had penned a long note on how her life has changed post embracing motherhood, "Haven’t shared a story for long, probably I didn’t know what to talk about. And then so many of you reached out on DM’s and shared yours and that encouraged me to write my most recent one. It’s been more than 60 days to my new life & SOMETHING HAS SWITCHED. I finally feel so much at ease embracing motherhood."
Jankee had further written how she can handle her crying baby now, "Today, when Sufi cries, I no longer feel the urge to hand him over to my Jhapa to quieten him. I feel so much more in sync and in rhythm with his body, feelings and emotions, and I know that my one touch will put him at ease. Earlier, I always felt the need to depend on either my help or someone or the other to take care of him through the day, whether it is changing his diapers, to making him have a bath to massaging to making him sleep or just make him burp."
Well, we love how Jankee and Nakuul are enjoying their first rain!
