Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh Mehta had announced the news of their first pregnancy in November 2020. The wait of nine months was finally over for the lovely couple when they had welcomed their baby boy on February 3, 2020, whom they have lovingly named Sufi. To announce the arrival of their son, Nakuul and Jankee had posted a glimpse of their newborn's hand, holding his mommy's finger and the daddy-to-be holding his little one's tiny hand. The elated parents, Nakuul and Jankee had captioned their posts as "February 3, 2021 This is Us Grateful and sleepy in equal measure. *Ing: @jank_ee/@nakuulmehta & Him".

Ever since Sufi’s birth, his parents are on cloud nine and never miss an opportunity to share glimpses of their parenthood journey. On April 13, 2021, Jankee had turned a year older and sharing an adorable picture with her baby boy, she had revealed how Sufi is the best gift of her life. Her caption could be read as “This year I couldn’t have asked for anything more than having this little man in my arms who I get to nuture for life. This birthday I wish and pray that I can be the best mother to my son and fill his heart with so much positivity, love, peace and belief that he can grow up to be the best version of himself.”
A few hours back, Jankee took to her IG handle and shared an adorable video, where she and Nakuul sang for their baby boy, Sufi. In the video, Nakuul and Jankee were seen acing their parental duties by singing the cupcake song and little Sufi enjoyed the attention showered on him. Along with the video, Jankee wrote, “Singing ‘The Cupcake Song’ for our little muffin @babysufim.”
Nakuul and Jankee are enjoying every moment of their parenthood journey. On April 11, 2021, Nakuul had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a cool picture with his young man, Sufi. In the picture, Nakuul had donned a white t-shirt as he had held Sufi in his arms, who was dressed in a striped white t-shirt with a pair of white pants. Alongside it, Nakuul had written, "One of these gents are ready to crash the servers of TINDER." On the other hand, Jankee had posted a video, wherein she was seen singing a song, 'Lukka chuppi bahut hui’ to her baby boy. Alongside it, she had written, "Singing to my heart #songsforsufi.”
A few days back, Jankee had shared two beautiful pictures of herself. Alongside it, Jankee had penned a long note on how her life has changed post embracing motherhood. She had written, "Haven’t shared a story for long, probably I didn’t know what to talk about. And then so many of you reached out on DM’s and shared yours and that encouraged me to write my most recent one. It’s been more than 60 days to my new life & SOMETHING HAS SWITCHED. I finally feel so much at ease embracing motherhood."

Jankee had further shared how she can handle her crying baby now, "Today, when Sufi cries, I no longer feel the urge to hand him over to my Jhapa to quieten him. I feel so much more in sync and in rhythm with his body, feelings and emotions, and I know that my one-touch will put him at ease. Earlier, I always felt the need to depend on either my help or someone or the other to take care of him through the day, whether it is changing his diapers, to making him have a bath to massaging to making him sleep or just make him burp."
