It is celebration time for television actress, Munmun Dutta as she purchased a new home in Mumbai. The actress shared the happy news with her fans through an Instagram post. For the unversed, Munmun Dutta rose to fame with the comedy show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma. The sitcom is one of the longest-running show in the history of television. And Munmun plays the role of 'Babita ji' in the show.
Over the years, Munmun Dutta's linkup rumours keep making rounds on the internet. However, a couple of months back, things took an ugly turn when she was linked to a nine-year-younger co-star, Raj Anadkat. After which, she was trolled brutally on the internet, but Munmun gave back to the false reports and the trollers for spreading fake news.

On November 8, 2021, Munmun took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her Diwali celebration in her new home. Sharing the photos, Munmun revealed the joy of purchasing a new home. Alongside it, she wrote, "New Home. New Beginnings. Thus a late Diwali post. Moved into my new home, in the middle of a hectic shoot schedule, fell super ill, recovered.. but absolutely thrilled to start a new journey in my new home. It’s been a dream come true."
Munmun further added, "Took a much-needed break from social media, spent quality time with Maa and my closest people , spent a quiet Diwali with them in my own way. Starting from ground zero without any help to reaching wherever I am today, I am super proud of myself. My hard work and sincerity paid off and I am blessed. Hope you all had a great Diwali."
Coming back to Munmun Dutta and Raj Andakat's dating rumours, A report in ETimes had claimed that Munmun and Raj have been dating for a while, and their families are also aware of their relationship. After this, Munmun Dutta had taken to her Instagram handle and had called out to the trollers.
On the work front, Munmun Dutta is currently seen in the comedy show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah!
