Life is not always the same! You are often hit by the biggest roadblocks when you are experiencing the happiest days of your lives. Something similar had happened with TV actor, Mohit Malik, when he was enjoying the pregnancy phase of his wife. It was after 10 years of his marriage with Aditi Shirwaikar that the couple had announced the news of their pregnancy. When the two were enjoying the happy phase of their life, Mohit had tested COVID-19 positive, and the couple had to live separately. However, now, the wait is over as Mohit has finally won the battle against the vicious virus and has reunited with his wife, Aditi. It was on January 15, 2021, when Mohit had shared that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Sharing a picture of himself, he had written, "As much as we try our best and take necessary precautions, sometimes there is always a wafer-thin chance for an inadvertent situation to occur. Yesterday I caught fever and our first impulse was to get a Covid test done, which has come out positive. Aditi is fortunately safe, but we have both isolated and I have quarantined myself. I request all those who were in touch with me for the past few days to exercise caution and take the necessary tests if any symptoms show or even otherwise, as a safety measure. Let’s pray and hope that we get over this rough tide, not just us, but whoever is going through this and let us hope to start living again in a safe and secure environment."
Now, after being in isolation for more than 14 days, Mohit has finally stepped out of his room and has reunited with his pregnant wife, Aditi. Taking to his IG handle, Mohit has shared a series of pictures with his wifey from their reunion. In one picture, Mohit can be seen laying his head on his wife’s shoulder, in the other one, Aditi can be seen hugging Mohit. In the third picture, Aditi can be seen laughing, while Mohit looked at her. Mohit can also be seen taking extra precautions for the sake of his pregnant wife as he sports a mask. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “The new normal in our house! @additemalik.”
When Mohit was in isolation, the couple had missed each other a lot. From Aditi sneakily recording Mohit to him penning 'miss you' note for her, we were simply feeling their pain of separation. On January 19, 2021, Mohit had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a mushy picture with his wife, Aditi. In the picture, we could see Mohit giving a peck on Aditi's nose and the duo had looked super adorable. Alongside it, Mohit had revealed the thing, which he was missing the most amidst the quarantine. His caption could be read as "Picturing yourself doing what you want to do will make it happen and I Picture This ADU! Very soon baby and baby. #MissYourHugs." In an interview with The Times of India, Mohit Malik had recalled the moment when he was shooting and his wife, Aditi Shirwaikar Malik had called him up to share the ‘good news’. Mohit had said, "All she said was, 'The tests are positive.’" Upon hearing this, Mohit had panicked for a minute as he had thought Aditi was talking about COVID-19 test results. However, she had clarified later and had told him that they are going to be parents. Mohit had continued, “It took two days for the news to sink in.
