It has been more than six months since we were confined in our homes in order to stay safe from the novel virus. But now that we have taken a step to resume our lives with precautions and coping up with the ‘new normal’, we are also gearing up to find safer ways to explore the world. Satisfying the travel bug, some of us have booked flight tickets or have already embarked on a road trip, and celebs are no different. Be it Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy, or Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar, celebs have already welcomed the new normal with open arms (sanitised, of course!). Mohena Kumari Singh had stayed with her in-laws during the pandemic lockdown and after months, she had met her family in Rewa sometime back. Giving a glimpse of how picture taking is done during social distancing times, Mohena had posted a photo with her bhabhisa, Vasundhra Raj Laxmi posing by her side and her husband, Suyesh Rawat on video call. Captioning their all smiling picture, Mohena had written, “PICTURE TAKING during SOCIAL DISTANCING TIMES: Ok @vasundhrarajlaxmi yahaan right pe khade ho jao, @mohenakumari aap left aa jao , anyone else , oh yes @suyeshrawat aap madam ke phone pe aa jao!!!”
It was in June when Mohena Kumari Singh, Suyesh Rawat, her in-laws and staff had tested COVID+ and it was a month battle for the actress. Mohena loves giving glimpses of her personal life on her IG handle, and a while back, she posted a picture with her husband from their vacation in Mussoorie. While Mohena looked pretty in a green coloured anarkali, Suyesh looked dapper in a grey-coloured tee and sunglasses.
During the lockdown, while everyone had updated on how they are spending the quarantine at home, Mohena Kumari Singh too had given a glimpse of the same. Mohena had turned muse for her hubby, Suyesh Rawat and had posted a picture of herself, clicked by him. Captioning Suyesh’s favourite picture of her, clicked by him, Mohena had written, “Well this was my husband’s favourite… So... there you go! When Mohena Kumari Singh had turned 32 on July 18, 2020, she had posted a picture from her first birthday celebrations post-marriage with her hubby, Suyesh Rawat. While Mohena had looked gorgeous as ever in a magenta-coloured saree, Suyesh had opted for a printed kurta to celebrate his wife’s birthday. In the birthday special candid picture, Suyesh could be seen applying cake on Mohena’s face with a spoon and she had captioned the post with a cake and a heart emoji.
On August 15, 2020, Suyesh Rawat had turned a year older and his doting wife, Mohena Kumari Singh was so busy spending 'real time' with him to make his first birthday special that she wished him on social media a day later. Mohena had posted a black-and-white picture with Suyesh from their wedding and had captioned it as "You are my blessing @suyeshrawat Hope your first birthday with me was special and I did not trouble you too much. P.s Sorry for the late post, I was too busy spending real time with you on your birthday."
Speaking of how she held on to husband, Suyesh Rawat and communicated with him when she had anxiety on the 9th or 10th day in the hospital, Mohena Kumari Singh had said in an interview with Pinkvilla, "We used to just peak from our doors and just ask each other if we are fine. It was not to break rules or anything. You get low, you are going to get low at some point, everybody will get into depression zone, but you have identified that. What happens with depression is that it is like the black hole which sucks you in. It is your prerogative to get out of it. You can only do it by realizing you are getting sucked. On the 9th and 10th day, it was getting too much. What really helped was my husband. I had a lot of anxiety on those days but I just held his hands and stood and took positive energy from him. Also, communication is important because keeping. Everybody is different. If you keep things within you, you become a heavy person and keep suppressing. You need to keep energies going."
