Ever since Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame dancer-cum-actress, Mohena Kumari Singh had exchanged rings with the love of her life, Suyesh Rawat, fans have been eagerly waiting to know more about her ‘mystery’ fiancé, October wedding and if they will get to see her on-screen post marriage or not. In 2018, an unseen picture of Mohena, all decked up, standing with a ‘mystery’ man had emerged on the internet and the reports were rife that she secretly had a roka ceremony in her hometown, Rewa. But when a media portal had contacted her, Mohena Kumari Singh refuted those speculations and had stated, “There is nothing concrete as of now. When something happens, will let you know." And fast forward to February 2019, Mohena along with her fiancé, Suyesh Rawat and their friends and family, celebrated the engagement ceremony of the lovebirds in Goa. #SuMoKiSagai trended on social media, and we couldn’t get over how lovely Mohena and Suyesh look together!
Mohena Kumari Singh, who is also the princess of Rewa, is all set to marry Suyesh Rawat, who is also a prince, on October 14, 2019, in Haridwar. Do you know that Mohena’s marriage will be even more special as it is after 100 years that a princess is getting married in the royal family of Rewa? Revealing details about her wedding, Mohena had stated in an interview with The Times Of India, “The sangeet is on October 13 and the wedding will take place on October 14 in Haridwar. A reception and my bidaai will take place on November 9 and 10 in Rewa.”
In yet another interaction with the same media portal, Mohena Kumari Singh opened up about her wedding plans, shifting to Dehradun post-wedding and her fiancé, Suyesh Rawat. Speaking about her adrenaline rush before the wedding, Mohena remarked, "It's fun, exciting but also nerve-wracking as well as you don't know what you are getting into. The entire process of stepping into a new phase of life is thrilling yet taxing. Right from shopping, planning, meeting designers, travelling, deciding upon which places to travel together, honeymoon, everything is on my mind together right now. Once am settled in, I can exactly talk about what I am going through."
Getting candid about her to-be-husband, Suyesh Rawat, Mohena Kumari Singh revealed how they are ‘fire and ice’ combination. Elaborating on the same, Mohena said, "We are definitely an ice and fire combination, he being the ice and I clearly being the fire. He brings about the calmness and composure in my life. I am completely bizarre and mad and he calms me. I love how Suyesh is so cool, and it's amazing. I have never met someone so honest and chivalrous. I have seen guys being chivalrous according to convenience. But Suyesh is just genuinely very well mannered, honest and chivalrous. I can't be with someone who is dishonest, I needed an honest partner and couldn't be happier than having Suyesh in my life. When I met him for the first time, I was sold then and there itself to his honesty. He was so honest and genuine. Being cool is not carrying a swag and attitude, it is actually when you can be yourself, let your loved one be as they are and sees life as beautiful, and Suyesh is exactly genuine."
Dil Dosti Dance debutante, Mohena Kumar Singh further revealed how she brings madness in her fiancé, Suyesh Rawat’s life, "I will surely bring madness into his life. He is calm and composed whereas I am mad. He gets very entertained looking at me and my friends because we are just so bizarre. We are going to be best friends, for sure and that's fantastic. When asked if she will be shifting to Dehradun post her wedding with Suyesh Rawat, Mohena Kumar Singh stated, "Well, I haven't thought about it much. I take life and things as it comes. I have always done what I wanted in life. I wanted to be a dancer, an actor, an internet sensation, and I am here, having done all of that. My heart and brain are in sync and that's how I have lived all my life. So, I haven't thought of what I will be doing with my career once I set up in Dehradun but I am sure, I will be working. I will never lose touch with the industry in Mumbai as it has made me what I am. From my teens to my 30s, I have been a part of this industry. I will try my best to be seen in the city but don't know how much can it be possible."
Speaking about how genuine her fiancé is as he understands her completely and how their similar background helps strengthen their relationship, Mohena Kumari Singh remarked, "When I joined the industry, people were very inquisitive about my royal family and its history. A few would genuinely want to know and the rest would just joke about it. Choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan would really be fascinated and genuinely ask about the history of my royal family. So, I too would tell him about my life at Rewa and how things worked. But some would joke about me being a princess and would ask for my royal elephants and horses. With Suyesh it's easy as he understands from where I come from. During my political rallies and campaigns, he would guide me in my speeches and pointers. He would know how people would accept me out there. My friends, on the other hand, wouldn't understand and would say that- "Mohena sounds like Katrina Kaif from Rajneeti while giving her speeches."
Commenting on their honeymoon destination and if she is planning to choreograph on her sangeet, the dancer-cum-choreographer-actress, Mohena shared, "We are still deciding upon our honeymoon destination, it hasn't been finalised. My social media shall tell you about my honeymoon destination. I tried choreographing Suyesh for my engagement but he comes across as impromptu and is much better that ways. I know I will be on stage and he will very easily follow me. He follows me well, by the way."
Mohena Kumari Singh will turn a year older on July 8, 2019, and spilling beans on her plans for her last birthday as a spinster, she stated, "Oh Yes, it's just a few weeks for my birthday and trust me, for a change, I have no idea about my birthday plans, for the first time. In fact, it's my first birthday in the past 10 years where I am not working at all. The special part is, this time I am going to have my fiancé alongside on my birthday and of course, I am expecting a surprise from Suyesh."
Speaking about her bridal wear, Mohena Kumari Singh revealed that she is scouting for designers from place to place and has shortlisted a few to design her and Suyesh's wedding trousseau. Mohena and Suyesh have also decided to keep their outfits a secret from each other and directly learn of each other's wedding ensembles on their wedding day. The designers will be hunted down from the USA and if not, then they will be getting their royal poshakh's designed from Rajasthan.
