Just when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor’s two-year-old daughter, Misha Kapoor was understanding what it is being ‘me’, she was promoted to the role of ‘big sister’. It was on September 5, 2018, when the Kapoor clan was visited by a stork, who gifted them their little bundle of joy, Zain Kapoor. Just a month after Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor were tasting the joy of parenthood for the second time with Zain Kapoor, the doting mommy had given a glimpse of how Misha Kapoor was loving her 'sister role' and was enjoying it to the fullest with her baby brother. While everyone was eagerly waiting for a picture of Zain and Misha in one frame, Mira had given a glimpse of their adorable sibling moment, which had Misha standing by Zain’s crib, who couldn’t stop adoring her then-newborn brother.
A while back, Mira Rajput Kapoor posted adorable pictures of Zain Kapoor and Misha Kapoor, wherein she yet again gave us a glimpse of a cute banter between them. Explaining the three pictures with super-cute captions, Mira wrote, “Roaaaar #notamouse. Raaaar vs Roar #stealingmythunder. I’m done #hangupmyears.” In the pictures, while Misha is dressed up as a lioness flaunting her face-painting, Zain looks super-adorable in a black ‘raarrr’ tee with black-and-white shorts.
Sometime back, an unseen picture of Mira Rajput Kapoor and Zain Kapoor from their family photoshoot had emerged on the internet and we could’t help but drool over the endearing photo! The photographer, Ankit Chawla had posted a picture of the mother-son duo on her birthday and any adjective to describe the beautiful picture would be an understatement. While mommy, Mira had looked stunning in an ill-fitted white shirt which she had teamed with a statement neckpiece and had kept her hair straight, her then-newborn son, Zain could be seen wrapped in a grey blanket. Mira couldn’t take her eyes off her little bundle of joy, who could be seen nestled into her arms.
Recently, at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2019, Shahid Kapoor shared his experiences as a father and how every day is a learning, with his kids. Shahid stated, "Like they say, children are born of you, they are not yours. And you have to learn to be an umbrella around them whenever they need protection. At the same time, give them the independence to find themselves. And choose to love and accept them for who they choose to be." Revealing how he wants to instill certain morals and values in his kids that he has learnt from his parents, but at the same time he wants them to live their life on their own terms too, Shahid Kapoor said, "The only thing that I wish to be is that there are certain values and morals, I have learnt from my parents, and I hope that I can instill some basic fundamentals within them, which I feel are essential. Beyond that, they will find themselves." Elaborating on the kind of love he receives from his children, which is so pure, Shahid continued, "I think I learn more from them than they can ever learn from me. The kind of love I get from them is more than I can ever give them. Because children are so pure. I think they are the closest to God. I think I take away much more from them than they can ever demand from me. I feel fortunate and blessed."
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor often share glimpses of their family life on social media and delight their fans with pictures of their little bundle of joys, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. And on June 5, 2019, Mira had treated her fans with not one, but three pictures of Misha and Zain, followed by the cute banter between them as her caption. Here’s what she had written, “1. Z: “Oh cool can I play with that flower” 2. M: “Ya let me help you hold it” 3. M: “MOM HE JUST PINCHED ME”.” While Misha could be seen in a blue-and-white-striped dress, baby Zain had looked cute as a cotton ball in a blue-and-white-checkered shirt.
After Zain Kapoor’s birth, Shahid Kapoor’s mother, Neliima Azeem had revealed Misha Kapoor’s happiness upon having another baby at her home. She had stated, “It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her. Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there.. she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely.
