A Delhi-based girl stepped into the world of glamour and fame with her marriage to a celebrity. On September 7, 2018, Mira Rajput Kapoor marked her 24th birthday, and since Mira delivered her second child just 2 days before her special day, the newbie mommy is in the hospital with her newborn son. Mira’s 24th birthday is indeed special because she is celebrating it for the first time with her baby boy as a mommy of two.
To celebrate this happy occasion, the doting husband Shahid Kapoor ordered a special cake for her as a double celebration of the arrival of Junior Kapoor and Mira’s birthday. Daffodils Creations, who made this yummylicious cake, took to their Instagram and shared the picture of the cake on which it is written, “Just Hatched, Happy Birthday Mother Hen”.
They captioned their post as, “This cake was a special gesture by #ShahidKapoor, as a double celebration was in order, the arrival of Jr. Kapoor & 2nd time Mommy #MiraKapoor 's Birthday!! As little time as we got to put this cake together, we hope it helped in making their Joyous day that much more Memorable. The entire Kapoor clan is on cloud nine with the new arrival in their family. From grandparents, Pankaj Kapur, Neelima Azeem, Supriya Pathak, Bela Rajput to Ishaan Khatter, Sanah Kapoor and big sister, Misha Kapoor, everyone paid a visit to the newborn munchkin and newbie mommy, Mira Rajput Kapoor. Pankaj Kapur shared his happiness and joy on the arrival of the new member in their family. The Office Office actor had shared, “I am very delighted that a new bundle of joy has come to our house. A baby being born in any house is a matter of sheer joy and excitement. Similarly, it is a moment of joy for our family and as the grandfather of the newborn, I am delighted and very proud of my family. I wish Shahid and Mira all the very best and many congratulations.”
Pankaj ji also said to Mumbai Mirror, "It’s the most delightful thing that can happen to any family. Shahid’s family is now complete. God bless all of them. We are thrilled about the new arrival.” Even second-time-grandmom, Neelima Azeem shared her happiness with Mumbai Mirror and was quoted as saying, “My dearest elder son’s family is now complete, and my daughter-in-law Mira has been so wonderful, brave and strong through the whole process.”
She further added, “Misha has got a brother and her Ishaan chachu has got a nephew now. I’m a hands-on grandmother with Misha and since I’ve had two boys of my own, being with the new member of the family will come naturally to me.” She can’t wait to bring Mira and the new baby home, “Everything was normal so Inshaallah the baby and mother will be home soon.”
Earlier in an interview, Shahid talked about embracing parenthood again, and had said, “Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so [I am] feeling happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family [after work], it’s a great feeling.” He further added, “Now, we will have two to deal with so that’s an added responsibility. Till now, we have been parents to only one child but from hereon, it will be about balancing [time and effort]. Mira and I are very excited to discover that journey.”
Even Mira shared how Shahid has been a strong pillar of support throughout her pregnancy and said that she couldn’t have asked for a better life partner. She remarked, “Shahid is an extremely loving and supportive husband. It comes naturally to him. The smallest things he does make me smile and feel so loved, like when I wake him up in the middle of the night with a foot cramp and he soothes it. Or how hands-on he is with Misha and has really made sure she doesn’t feel the lack of my attention and presence, especially in these last few weeks where I can’t pick her up or play very much with her. It’s everything put together. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to walk beside me through this journey.” We can’t agree more with Mira.
