The Kabir Singh fame, Shahid Kapoor had tied the knot with Mira Rajput on July 7, 2015. The two of them have a very old-school love story and are living a happily married life with each other. The couple was blessed with their baby girl on August 26, 2016. Two years later, they had welcomed their second child, Zain in 2018.

The duo is apparently the most adored couple in B-town. Both, Shahid and Mira are avid social media users and constantly share updates about their personal and professional lives. Mira Kapoor not only creates a buzz with her posts but also hosts live sessions with her fans. She has often spoken about Shahid’s relationship with their kids and has also opened up about parenting responsibilities.
In an interview with Kidsstoppress, the star-wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor said that she and Shahid used to fight about parenting duties but that’s not the case anymore. She opened up about the importance of splitting the parenting chores, in order to maintain a healthy and sane relationship between all. Her viewpoint spoke a lot about co-parenting in particular.
Talking about the importance of co-parenting, Mira said, “It used to happen. But I am so happy that both of us are in sync. Because I feel co-parenting is really important and it's absolutely essential to keeping yourself and your family happy and sane. Because once you become one, you are a parent till the rest of your life. It’s an endless job but you don’t need to make it endless without any breaks, and that’s where co-parenting really helps."

She continued to say, "And regardless of the amount of help that you may have, at the end of the day, as parents, you are the ones who structure the family, its dynamics, the values that you want to set in and that’s when I feel like Shahid and I are completely in sync with that.”
Adding further, Mira Rajout Kapoor mentioned the different strengths that she and Shahid Kapoor hold as parents. She also revealed that the two of them specialise in handling different sectors of Misha and Zain’s lives. Well, undoubtedly, being parents is no joke and requires a lot of patience and understanding.
Mira talked about Shahid's involvement and she added, “He knows that I am more involved on a day-to-day basis but now even that has changed because actually even Shahid is very involved, even on a day-to-day basis. I think it’s great. During the pandemic, I hope that other fathers have realised what mothers ‘typically’ are supposed to be doing and sharing that load. That balance is good. I am good at one thing, he is good at another thing. Shahid is extremely patient, I am very meticulous. So I am damn good with their routines but he is amazing with meltdowns, so it helps.”
Taking a peep into the work front of the couple, Shahid Kapoor will be making his next appearance in the film, Jersey which is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name. On the other hand, Mira Rajput continues to work as a social media influencer and might also make her acting debut with Shahid Kapoor.
