Mira Rajput Kapoor is 26 and has been acing her mommy duties. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had welcomed their first child, a daughter, Misha Kapoor on August 26, 2016. Two years and ten days later, they were blessed with a baby boy, Zain Kapoor on September 5, 2018. In 2020, Mira had planned a Peppa-pig themed birthday party for her ‘sunshine’ Misha, and this year, the doting mommy had arranged for a technicolour birthday bash.
On August 26, 2021, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s daughter, Misha Kapoor had turned five and the doting mommy, Mira had penned a wish for her. Taking to her IG stories, Mira had written, "Our life began to play technicolour when you were born my darling Misha. Keep shining, be happy and reach for the stars and the rainbows. You are the light of our lives sweetheart. The Lord's grace in abundance and love forever. Mumma and Papa."

A few hours back, Mira Rajput Kapoor shared a series of pictures from her daughter, Misha’s 5th birthday party. From colourful decoration to mismatched crockery, Misha’s pictures with her parents to her rainbow-themed birthday cake, Mira ensured her daughter’s birthday is a huge hit. Sharing the series of pictures, Mira captioned it as “Life in Technicolour. This year M’s birthday was all about rainbow, bright colours, and less complicated decor! Last year I was super excited to be a DIY party planner. Two birthdays and a year later, all I can think of is arriving at the birthday like a guest!”
Talking about the décor, Mira added, “I reduced the decor fuzz and switched it with fun lights instead that were easier to handle and use in many ways (and later too). I picked up a fresh set of theme specific rainbow plates and napkins for cake from @partyalacarte17 and stuck to the bamboo ones for party grub. And I found a super convenient website @thememypartyofficial that delivers very well priced theme specific party supplies including straws, sandwich toppers, the backdrop, paper lanterns and colour coordinated balloons.”

Mira also shared the food they had and how her mother had made her signature sandwich house. She added, “We had popcorn from the popcorn containers leftover from last year and the rest of the snacks laid out for kids to dig in in mix-n-match crockery. My mom made her signature sandwich house: how many of you had them at your birthdays in the 90s?”
Mira also mentioned other details of the party décor and how she plans to re-use some of it at Zain’s birthday. She added, “I always lay out the table before the party itself so there’s less madness later. I love this table cover from @thewishingchair and the crockery from this set (not used here) is equally lovely. The rainbow fringe, rainbow wrapping and a devilishly convenient balloon machine was from @amazondotin. Ofcourse the alphabet lights from @dohremico brought it all together (and I’ve ordered an extra Z & N so we can make a Zain out of the Misha) along with the most fun prizes and party favours."
Mira concluded her note with the games that the kids had played at Misha’s birthday. She concluded, “Dog & the bone, Lemon spoon race and treasure hunt for all ages was too much fun. I think the adults enjoyed it a lot more than the kids. The cake was DIVINE. Vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling instead of buttercream on a custom order @the_kitchenette_jalandhar I’d love to know how you all are celebrating kiddie birthdays cause I am ready to retire and I have another one in 4 days!”
Shahid and Mira had celebrated Misha's fifth birthday in Jalandhar. The 'little missy', Misha had got two unique rainbow cakes. While scrolling through our feed, we had stumbled upon the cute cakes made by The Kitchenette. The cakes had icing in rainbow colours. It also had beautiful butterflies and Misha's name. The Kitchenette had also shared a picture of the return gift from Misha along with a cute card.
Well, Mira Rajput Kapoor is indeed great when it comes to party planning!
