On November 4, 2020, when the married ladies were fasting on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, Mira had given a hilarious twist to her fasting. To mark Karwa Chauth 2020, Mira Rajput Kapoor had posted a wish for hubby, Shahid Kapoor on her IG stories, in which she had talked about her equivalent love for Shahid as for food. Mira had written, “Baby I love you but I love food too. To our forever threesome. Happy KC @shahidkapoor Will try again next year and I wish you good health and happiness always muah.”

Taking to her IG handle, Mira had shared a picture of Sindhi cuisine, Sel Bread and had narrated the story of how her Sindhi cuisine has got Punjabi tadka. Sharing the mouth-watering picture, Mira had written, “I’m as Sindhi as my Sel Bread! This is my mother’s version of her favourite childhood Sindhi breakfast. It’s taken a far more Punjabi twist over the years, with lots of tomatoes and onions. My home food is nothing without tomatoes; my maternal home that is. We can have it with just about anything. So call me a half this or half that but my stomach is definitely full! Talking about Shahid and Ishaan’s bond, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, Neliima Azeem had talked about how Shahid had pestered her to have a child again, and specifically a brother. She had said, "It was Shahid who wanted me to have a child again. He was 14 and we (she and Rajesh Khatter) were well settled with our lives. I was happily working and the thought of having a baby again never crossed my mind. But Shahid specifically wanted a brother. I have my own brother so I knew what he meant. You can get married and have partners but your brother is the only one with your DNA after your parents aren't there with you. So I remember I wanted a girl and I couldn't have promised Shahid a brother. But my doctor, after Ishaan was born, didn't congratulate us first. She said, "Congratulations to Shahid.
