Milind Soman - a name that is enough to take us back to the good old '90s when this supermodel in the song, Made In India had made every girl go weak in their knees and climbed the ladder of success like no other model. 1995 to 2021, nothing changed except that Milind has become hotter and a happily married man. The 90s' heartthrob and model-turned marathoner, Milind found his soulmate in an equally fitness enthusiast Ankita Konwar. With their age gap of 26 years, Milind and Ankita are often called out by some people, but the couple's love is going stronger with each passing day. No matter how cliché 'age is just a number' may sound, madly-in-love couples like Milind and Ankita prove it to be true!
It was in 2018 when Ankita and Milind had exchanged wedding vows in a traditional Maharashtrian marriage ceremony. This was followed by a barefoot wedding at Santiago de Compostela, Spain. For the Maharashtrian ceremony, Milind and Ankita had twinned in white and golden coloured ensembles. For the white ceremony too, Milind and Ankita had picked colour-coordinated outfits. It's been three years since their wedding but with their much-in-love pictures and videos, Milind and Ankita are nothing but sheer goals, who have always raised the hotness bar with their sizzling chemistry!

Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar's anniversary falls on the day when the world celebrates Earth Day. Speaking about dealing with her anxieties and being grateful for 'being able to feel one with nature', Ankita, in her Earth Day special post, wrote, "Your day is as special as you want it to be. Be it your birthday, earth day, anniversaries or just the bloody fact that you’re alive and breathing even in a crazy pandemic, should be enough to make you feel grateful. Dealing with my anxieties as best as I can. Look around you, sure you will be able to see something you’re grateful for. I’m truly grateful for being able to feel one with nature. A giant thank you to the ones spreading positive energy out there and to the ones who took out sometime to plant a tree for earth day or talked about it. All of us are guilty of wasting our money on unnecessary garbage (I’m getting better at not doing that though) As a gift to yourself and the planet earth, refrain from buying anything non essential today. That should suffice as a first step. Happy living day. #gratitude #love #earthday #mothernature #planetearth #greenery #pandemic."
In an interview with The Telegraph, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar had revealed many astonishing facts about their relationship and their courtship days. Milind had revealed in the interview that it was the 26-year generation gap that had attracted her towards him. But were Ankita's parents okay about it? The missus had said, "My mom was a little surprised." To which, Milind had continued, "Her mother is younger than me." Ankita had balanced the same by saying, "By two years. She always liked him as a personality, but she was a little worried. 'Are you sure?' she asked me."
Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar had felt an 'instant' connection when they had met for the first time. But what was Ankita’s first reaction about Milind? She had stated, "I was with AirAsia at that time. I had just come in from Malaysia because AirAsia was setting up in India at that time. So, I was one of the 16 people to come here and help set up the company. I saw him and thought would go and say 'hi' to him, but he was so busy on the phone. At the nightclub, my friend pushed me to go say hi. I don’t like nightclubs and I haven’t been to one after that. I don’t like crowded places. I had that urge. I had to go the club that day." Milind too, had added, "She had seen me at the hotel before we met at the nightclub. We were staying in the same hotel. We went back to that nightclub last year. It was afternoon and it was shut. We just went to see... Oh this is where we met!"
Happy anniversary, Ankita and Milind!
