Way before Jaaved Jaaferi’s son, Meezaan’s first film was announced, he had made the headlines, courtesy his personal life. Meezaan is rumoured to be dating Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of veteran actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Their social media banters often make it to the news and a glimpse of the same was seen a few days back. Navya had posted a picture of herself, sitting on the rooftop with her face covered with her hair. Meezaan was quick to drop an adorable comment with a request for Navya. Ms Nanda had captioned her post as "Fiddler on the roof.” On which, Meezaan had commented, "Can you show your face?”
During a throwback interaction with Zoom, Meezaan was asked to choose between Navya Naveli Nanda, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday to whom he would like to marry, hook-up and kill. Meezaan was quick to choose Navya for marriage, Sara for a hook-up and decided to kill Ananya. In the same interview, Meezaan had played the ‘just friends’ card, denying the relationship rumours with Navya. Meezaan had said, "Why will I admit it when there is no relationship? Friends ka bhi ek relationship hota hai. It's not a boyfriend-girlfriend dating relationship."
Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter and Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Nikhil Nanda's daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda is rumoured to be dating Jaaved Jaaferi's son, Meezaan. The Bollywood debutant, Meezaan had clarified his relationship status with Navya, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror a few months back. He had said, “We are from the same friends’ circle, she’s my sister’s bestie and a really good friend. I’m not in a relationship with anyone.” Meezaan was referring to his sister Alaviaa Jaaferi, who is one of Navya's closest friends and Ms Nanda is often spotted in Alaviaa's Instagram posts. To mark Alaviaa Jaaferi’s birthday in 2021, Meezaan and his rumoured ladylove, Navya Naveli Nanda had posted wishes on their respective social media handles. Meezaan had shared a late post with Alaviaa as the brother-sister duo posed with the backdrop of Dubai’s skyline and had written, “Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! @alaviaajaaferi sorry for the late post” followed by a heart emoticon. Navya had posted a stunning throwback picture with her ‘crazy’ BFF, Alaviaa from one of their parties and had written, “Happy birthday crazy @alaviaajaaferi” atop it.
As per International Business Times, on May 9, 2018, Navya Naveli Nanda had uploaded a cosy picture, twinning in white and blue, with her alleged boyfriend, Meezaan on Instagram and she had painted it with a big heart saying, 'love you' and used #RelationshipGoals. In the picture, Navya could be seen leaning over the mystery guy, who wrapped his arm around her, and she had captioned it with two hearts. This had made her fans curious about who the ‘mystery guy’ in Navya’s life is. Rumours about Navya and Meezaan had started doing the rounds when they were snapped after a movie date in 2017. Not just that, Meezaan was snapped at various other occasions with Navya, trying his best to hide his face from the paparazzi.
