Ace fashion designer, Masaba Gupta tied the knot with the love of her life, Satyadeep Misra, in an intimate wedding ceremony on January 27, 2023. The couple had a court marriage with their close friends and family members in attendance. Later, in the evening, the duo hosted a reception party for their loved ones in Mumbai and enjoyed the festivities to the fullest.
A few moments back, taking to her IG handle, Masaba Gupta shared a series of pictures of herself from her wedding day. In the pictures, the diva looked stunning in a black-hued full-sleeved top which she paired with a blue-hued tied skirt. She completed her look with a glam makeup and long statement earrings. However, the highlight of her look was her long choti adorned with exquisite traditional gold jewellery, which added an Indian touch to her overall western look.

Along with the pictures, Masaba penned a long note revealing why she opted for the outfit from Azzedine Alaia's couture for her wedding day and stated that she couldn't afford the expensive outfit earlier. She also mentioned that she wanted to add an Indian twist to her look, so she opted for a South Indian braid to complement her look. Sharing the story behind how she managed to curate her overall look for her special day, Masaba added:
"I admire Azzedine Alaia and was waiting for the day I could afford to get my first dress from the couturier. What better occasion than my wedding day? And I knew I would give it an Indian twist with a South Indian braid. All very clear in my head. @dollaypop & her team found the last piece in my size in Paris & @atinirmal.g.pagarani carried it back in his hands via dubai - the choti flown in from Chennai and some lovely @shriparamanijewels earrings from Delhi to add to the mix."
Earlier, while scrolling through our IG feed, we stumbled upon a priceless video of the newlyweds, Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Misra from their wedding reception. In the video, the couple was seen enjoying the moment, and they were completely lost in one another. While Masaba donned her designer dress, on the other hand, her husband, Satyadeep looked dapper in a crisp white shirt, paired with a beige-hued blazer. They cut a beautiful four-tiered cake, and later, indulged in a passionate kiss with one another while their loved ones cheered for them.

In an interview with Vogue, Masaba Gupta opened up about her secret wedding with her beau, Satyadeep, and revealed that they both didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money to please people. Talking about how they both have done that before, Masaba stated that they both were clear about making the day about themselves. Sharing details about the same, Masaba added:
"The idea of choosing something intimate was because we're both conscious of not wasting ridiculous amounts of money. We are extremely private people, and we want to be in the presence of family and loved ones for memorable days like these. We've both been there before, and we saw that it doesn't make sense to do things that stress you out on such an important day. This is truly a private moment for both of us, and more than anything, we wanted to enjoy it."
