The wedding of the year 2019 is finally in its last leg of the celebrations. Finally, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son, Akash Ambani took the wedding vows with his childhood bestie, Shloka Mehta on March 9, 2019. But the celebrations are not yet over! The newly-wed couple and their family hosted a grand wedding reception yesterday night i.e. on March 10, 2019. And today, on March 11, 2019, there is another wedding reception to take place. Earlier. a source exclusively shared with us the details of the wedding itinerary and had said, “The Akash Ambani wedding started with Akash and and his family paying their respects to his Dadaji and Nanaji. All the guests collected at the pre-wedding concourse for the Saafa tying ceremony even as Vishal and Shekhar engaged in some foot tapping singing to set the tempo. Seen mingling and enjoying tying the saafa, the festive Indian turban, were former British Premiere Tony Blair, former U N Secy general Ban Ki-Moon global CEOs, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, other cricketers and Bollywood stars.”

An official statement by the Ambanis was released after Akash and Shloka’s wedding. The statement could be read as, “The Akash Ambani wedding started with Akash and and his family paying their respects to his Dadaji and Nanaji. Further, it added, “The Baaraat left from the Concourse through the Driveway amidst boisterous dancing and Masti...putting everyone in great spirits. The wedding celebrations will continue on 10th and 11th March with lovely receptions and exquisite performances lined up. Akash Ambani is a doting brother to Isha Ambani. It is also to be noted here that Akash is twin brother Isha. As per the reports, he was supposed to tie the knot in 2018, but shifted his dates as he wanted Isha to tie the knot first. In an interaction with Vogue, the newly-married Isha revealed the same, "Akash has the largest heart ever. He changed his wedding dates for me. He got engaged to Shloka before Anand and me, but he was like, “I’ll get married afterwards, you take my wedding dates.” He’s like one of the most—I don’t think there’s a word for it in English—“dayalu” humans in this world. He’s empathetic, gracious and gentle, just like Shloka.”
