Avika Gor’s portrayal of ‘Anandi’ in the TV show, Balika Vadhu had raised her to fame. While it was her stint as a child actor, her show, Sasural Simar Ka had gained her popularity to another level. It was her chemistry with her co-star, Manish Raisinghan that is still loved by millions of their fans, who were hoping for them to become a real-life couple too.

While Manish Raisinghan and Avika Gor are happy in their lives with their respective partners, for quite some time an absurd rumour has been doing the rounds. It is reported that Manish and Avika are parents to a child and they have kept it a secret. While Manish and Avika were earlier clearing the rumours of their dating before Manish’s wedding, this has come as a big blow for them.
In a conversation with ETimes, Manish Raisinghan reacted to the reports of a secret child with Avika Gor and called it absurd. He said, "This is one of the most absurd things I have ever heard about my friendship with Avika." Stating that he is 18 years older than Avika, he added, "Why can't two individuals be good friends? Why do they have to be in a relationship? Also it's a fact that I am 18 years older than her."
Sharing that Avika Gor will always remain his close friend and revealing his wife, Sangeita Chauhaan’s reaction, Manish Raisinghan added, “Avika will always be a close friend. She is in a happy relationship now with Milind Chandwani and it has been more than a year since I got married in June 2020. Sangeita and I laughed about these rumours."
In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, a few days back, Avika Gor had also reacted to these rumours and had called it impossible. She had added that Manish is eighteen years older than her and will always remain her best friend. She had said, "There were articles like humne bachcha chhupa ke rakha hai (we have a secret child). We are very close, even now. He'll always have a very special space in my life. In my journey from the age of 13 till now, he has been the closest friend that I've ever had."

Manish Raisinghan had tied the knot with Sangeita Chauhaan on June 30, 2020, in a Gurudwara wedding. While Avika Gor had made her relationship official with her Roadies fame beau, Milind Chanwani in November 2020. In a conversation with The Times Of India, Manish had shared that he is happy for Milind and Avika as he knew him even before the two had started dating. He had shared that Milind and Avika are complete opposites and this brings a balance in their life.
Manish had also revealed that his wife, Sangeita too had mistaken him to be dating Avika when they had met. Manish had shared that he had to clarify to Sangeita that he and Avika are only good friends. He had also mentioned that even after his wedding with Sangeita, he is still linked with Avika and while earlier it used to affect him, now he simply ignores it.
