After the untimely death of her husband, Raj Kaushal, Mandira Bedi is gathering up all her emotions together and doing everything best for her kids, Vir Kaushal and Tara Bedi Kaushal. Mandira is the perfect example of woman empowerment and has always ditched stereotypes. Now, the doting mommy is doing her best to manage both the roles of a father and a mother for her kids, Vir and Tara.
On July 28, 2021, Mandira had penned an adorable birthday wish for Tara as the day had marked one year of her arrival at their household. Sharing some beautiful memories of their family, Mandira had written, "28th July! One year today since you came into our lives, sweet sweet Tara... And so we celebrate you today… it’s your 5th birthday my baby. I love you so much #beginagain."

While Mandira is mourning the loss of her husband, Raj's death, she made sure to celebrate Tara's birthday. The hands-on mommy took to her IG stories and shared pictures from Tara's birthday celebration. Mandira posted a picture with Tara, with balloons in the backdrop and wrote, "My little girl wasn't denied her first birthday celebration in our home." She also posted a picture of Vir with fairy lights and wrote, "On his little sis's birthday."
Mandira is getting back to her life, but the actress often posts pictures and miss you note for her late husband. On July 14, 2021, Mandira Bedi had expressed her grief on her IG handle by sharing a picture, where on a piece of paper, she had written her late husband’s name, the one that she used to call him with, “Raji..” She had captioned the picture as “Miss you Raji..”, followed by a heartbroken emoticon.

Six days after Raj's death, Mandira Bedi had paid a silent tribute to her husband. Deleting her Instagram profile picture, Mandira had added a black frame instead. She had also shared pictures from their 20th wedding anniversary celebrations, which happened to be the last one they had celebrated together. In her caption, she had added a heartbroken emoticon.
For the unversed, Mandira Bedi's husband, Raj Kaushal, had breathed his last on June 30, 2021, after suffering a cardiac arrest. In an interview with The Times Of India, music director, Sulaiman Merchant had opened up on the last moments of Raj. He had shared that Raj was feeling uneasy and had taken an antacid tablet, but it was around 4 am, when he had felt more uneasy. Raj had told his wife, Mandira, that he was getting heartattack.
