The most talked-about couple, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, never fail to bask in the power of their romance. Despite being trolled on social media, specifically for their huge age gap, Malaika and Arjun continue to bash the flawed social norms. And why should not they? At the end of the day, it is Arjun and Malaika’s consent and respect for each other which is more important than any backward thinking of society.
Since they made their relationship Insta-official in 2019, the lovebirds never shied away from posting cute pictures of each other and with each other. For Arjun, it's Malaika’s maturity which helps him learn many things in life. From picking up the right-hued costumes to balancing family responsibilities, Malaika is a guiding light to him. On the other hand, Arjun brings out Malaika’s inner child and makes her life full of thrills and excitement.
On September 13, 2022, Arjun Kapoor took to his IG handle and dropped two throwback pictures with Malaika Arora from their Paris vacation. In the pictures, the duo was seen enjoying their breakfast on a sunny day. The actress looked gorgeous in a white spaghetti top layered with a grey and white checkered shirt and a statement necklace. In contrast, Arjun was clad in a black printed T-shirt and a beanie. However, what caught our attention was their blue square framed Burberry sunglass worth Rs. 7K, which added that oomph factor to their look. In the caption, Arjun revealed that it was his darling, Malaika, who wore the shades better. He penned:
“Who wore em better? Swipe right to know my answer !!!”
Malaika Arora was married to director and actor, Arbaaz Khan for 19 years before parting ways with mutual consent in 2017. In an old interview with Hello! India, Malaika addressed people's 'misogynistic approach' towards female relationships. Elaborating on her views, she had stated:
"It's very important for women to have a life after a breakup or a divorce. There's a misogynist approach to female relationships. It's often considered a sacrilege for a woman to date a younger man."
Earlier, in an interview with India Today, the actress had mentioned how society shames independent women throughout their lives. Sharing how she has been judged for her choice of clothes and finding love again after divorce, Malaika had said:
"You have a problem if I wear something that doesn't suit your taste, you have a problem that I am divorced, you have a problem that I have found love again, you have a problem that my partner happens to be younger than me... I think the real problem is not age. Society finds ways to shame women throughout their lives. People are still intimidated by an opinionated, thinking working woman, and the best weapon they have is slander."
Do you think Malaika wore the sunnies better than Arjun? Let us know!
