When a mother carries her baby in her tummy, she desperately waits for the day when she will be able to hold her baby in her hands. The family and everyone count days to the baby’s arrival and the delivery date becomes extra special when you conceive a baby after a long time. While everyone wants the baby to enter into the world as early as possible, nobody wants the baby to be born in a premature stage as it brings pain to the entire family. Mahhi Vij is one such mother, who had gone through a preterm delivery and has now shared her experience of the same. Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij had secretly gotten married with each other in the year 2010 and had adopted two kids, Khushi and Rajveer in 2017. It was on May 24, 2019, when Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali had informed that their family of four will soon be completed with the arrival of their little one. And on August 3, 2019, the couple was blessed with a little angel, whom they have lovingly named Tara. With the birth of Tara, Jay and Mahhi’s life had changed for the best, and now the darling mommy has recalled her preterm delivery days.
Mahhi Vij openly talks about her motherhood journey and experiences and now, again the actress has shared the case of her premie delivery, thanking the hospital staff. Taking to her IG handle, Mahhi shared a picture of herself with the hospital staff, holding her premature baby, Tara in her arms. Along with it she narrated how the hospital staff had helped her during her one month stay at the hospital after the birth of Tara. She wrote, “Motherhood can be scary especially in my case with a premie. However I know I was in the BEST hands as the team at Breach Candy Hospital took very good care of Tara. And yes I can’t forget their support towards me as well because there would be times when I would be scared. Their warmth never made us feel like we were in the hospital for an entire month! Mahhi Vij often becomes the target of trollers and she certainly knows how to hit them back. On April 28, 2020, Mahhi had taken to her Instagram handle and had narrated her body-shaming experience. She had posted a picture with her daughter, Tara and had written, "Let’s get one thing straight, Body-shaming someone is never OK, even if the target is a public figure. However, despite the fact that this should be a universal rule of decorum, people are still prone to criticizing the appearances of others, including those of new moms. Even after my delivery people used to come to me and say things like you’d look gorgeous if you put down some weight! All I would say, don’t let these comments take a toll on you.. just eat right and let your body heal because you have just delivered a human out of your body!" In her long note, Mahhi had also revealed about her C-section scar which she is proud of, and had written, "Love your body just the way it is.. I know it might bother you.. but it’s ok..you are beautiful just the way you are, with or without stretch marks or pregnancy scars. I have a c-section scar in my body and I’m proud of it. All we need is for someone to tell us we are doing great and we look okay. After all growing a baby, carrying them for nine months and then giving birth is the biggest change in a women's life and she needs all the kindness, power and positivity around her she can get."
