Jay and Mahhi met for the first time at a card party at one of their common friends place. The two became friends and finally fell in love. The cutesy couple tied the knot secretly in November 2011.

Jay and Mahhi are one of the most adorable couples of Telly world. Jay made his big Bollywood debut in 2014 with Hate Story 2. It was during this time that rumours of trouble in Jay and Mahhi’s paradise started doing the rounds. There was news of the two having huge fights over his intimate scenes in the movie. But soon, the rumours died.
Then again in 2015, when Jay and Mahhi participated in Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi, rumours started doing the rounds that they had an ugly fight. The reason behind the fight was his growing closeness with co-contestant, Parvathy Omanakuttanm.

On being asked if all these rumours affect their relationship, here is what Mahhi said:
“It doesn’t as I strongly believe in karma. If someone does a bad thing to you, it will eventually fall back on them. My focus is on my work and family. I don’t pay attention and waste my energy on such things.”
So is she a possessive wife, as stated by the media? Pat came her reply! Here is what she said:
“I am possessive but not an insecure wife. And I think every woman is possessive towards her husband. I don’t fear losing Jay. He can’t stay away from me for more than half an hour. My love is too strong to lose him.”
Jay is mostly busy with his work and travelling, does that bother her, living alone? Here is what she said:
“I have a set of good friends, family and my pets. I am a dotting wife who likes to take care of the house. I make sure that everything in our house is well managed.”
It has been almost 5 years of their happy marriage, when are they planning to have a baby? The actress replied:
“Jay and I are concentrating on our respective careers.”
