Jay and Mahhi had secretly gotten married in 2011. Setting another milestone for youngsters, the couple had adopted their caretakers’ kids, Khushi and Rajveer, and later on were blessed with a little angel, Tara on August 21, 2019. The couple is now a complete family and often they feature their entire family in their TikTok videos. Jay and Mahhi have been making some hilarious TikTok videos of late. The two have been actively using their time together as otherwise, either of them is busy with their work-related commitments. On June 8, 2020, Jay Bhanushali took to his Instagram handle to share another hilarious TikTok video with his wife, Mahhi Vij. In the video, Mahhi can be seen using her phone and asking her husband, Jay the spelling of ‘happiness’, and then Jay starts to spell the letters of word ‘unmarried’, leaving Mahhi annoyed. The video, in a nutshell, explains the life of every married man and their plea to go back to their single days. Jay captioned the video as “I used to always get good marks in ENGLISH!! Jay and Mahhi have been engaged in this fun banter for a long time. On 28 May 2020, Jay had posted another hilarious video on his Instagram handle. In the video, we could see Jay, walking in front of a door on which his wife, Mahhi had pinned a break-up note. The note could be read as “Sorry, but this isn’t working.” While everyone had expected him to cry on the news of the breakup, the actor had given a hilarious reaction to it, defining the phrase ‘Men will be men’. He had simply started checking the door on which the note was pinned on and thought that his wife, Mahhi was complaining about the door and after moving it back and forth, he had gone out of the room. Jay has been a loving husband and a doting father, who tries his best to keep his family entertained. In a 2019 chat show, Love Talkies, Jay and Mahhi had opened about their love, marriage and parenthood. When asked what is that one change they want to bring in their marriage, Jay had said, "I don't think it is been a long journey. I think it is a short journey which we have just started. After the baby came in our life, we just feel our journey has just begun. One decision if I would ever want to change, I would have changed this. I should have planned baby much earlier."
Mahhi had agreed with her husband, Jay and had believed that they should have planned their baby much earlier. She had also revealed, "Now that Tara has come in our life, our life only revolves around her. I don't get time for anything else.
