If someone asks you to choose between your left side of the heart and right side of the heart, what are you gonna do? What will you choose? Choosing someone is never easy. In fact, why do we live in a society where often the person is bothered with a question of choice? Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar had met in the summer of 2000, for the first time for a movie, and by the end of the film, Mahesh and Namrata had already fallen in love with each other. On February 10, 2005, the couple had taken the wedding vows. The couple had welcomed their first kid, Gautam Krishna, in the year 2006, and was blessed with their second child, a daughter, named Sitara in 2012. The family is spending their lockdown together and Namrata shares her family’s throwback pictures on a daily basis. Taking some cues from wife, Namrata, Mahesh Babu also interacted with his fans on his Instagram handle.
On May 31, 2020, Mahesh Babu took to his Instagram handle to do an ‘Ask me anything’ session with his fans. His fans bombarded him with a variety of questions, but what is a question and answer session, if fans don’t ask about someone’s personal life. Mahesh too, was bombarded with some personal questions and questions about his family. One of the fans asked Mahesh to choose between his son, Gautam and daughter, Sitara. His question can be read as “Who do you like more Sitara or Gautam?” Mahesh gave an apt reply calling his kids to be a part of him. He replied, “Both of them are a part of me!! Other than this, Mahesh was asked, “Sir, how much do you love Namrata mam?” To which, he replied, “R u married?? First tell me.” When asked “Who is your bestfriend ????” he replied, “@manratashirodkar” followed by a hug emoticon. When asked about his favourite game, he revealed how much he loves to play with his son, Gautam. He said, “I’m really enjoying paying tennis, golf and baseball online with my son @gautamghattamaneni.” A fan asked if Gautam is also going to be a hero in the future, like his father, he replied, “He wants to I guess!! Only time will tell” followed by two heart emoticons. When asked about his quarantine life with family, he replied, “It’s been an experience of lifetime. Talking about Mahesh’s love for playing games with his son, Gautam, his wife, Namrata often shares pictures and videos of the father-son duo, playing virtual games. On May 25, 2020, Namrata had taken to her Instagram handle to share a goofy picture of her husband, Mahesh gossiping with their son, Gautam, while little Sitara can be seen standing at a distance. She has also put a quirky caption along with the cute picture which could be read as "Someone’s feeling left out in the conversation!! #swimtime #makingmemories #lockdown #stayhome #oneforeachday." On April 16, 2020, Mahesh Babu had also shared a video of virtual tennis game with his son, Gautam on his Twitter. In the video, we could see Mahesh in a comfortable avatar donning a blue T-shirt and striped lower, while his son, Gautam could be seen in a white T-shirt and black-printed shorts.
