MS Dhoni and Sakshi are one of the cutest couples of the cricketing world and their life was overloaded with cuteness after the arrival of their angel, Ziva Singh Dhoni. For those who don't know, their fathers worked in the same company in Ranchi and they were family friends. When they were kids, Mahi and Sakshi went to the same school DAV Shyamali in Ranchi. However, they had lost track when Dhoni's family moved away. Later, the duo had met each other in the year 2007 in Kolkata, where Sakshi was working as an intern at Taj Bengal. And that's when our captain cool fell in love with Sakshi's charm. It was on July 4, 2010, when MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni had tied the knot and had hopped on their marital journey.
Over the years, we have seen many sides of MS Dhoni. From being a perfect husband to being a doting daddy, Dhoni has been acing his every role. On December 4, 2019, we had come across a cute video, which was posted by one of Sakshi and Dhoni's mutual friend, Preeti Simoes on Instagram. In the video, we could see Mahendra singing a song for his wifey. Alongside it, she had written, "WARNING: PLS WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK... The very talented Mr Mahi. @mahi7781 please don't kill me for posting this one! But this awaaz had to be shared! @sakshisingh_r yours coming soon!" We still remember how in an interview with the Wisden magazine, Dhoni had shared that Sakshi holds third place in his life. He had said, "I love my country. I tell my wife she is only the third most important thing after my country and my parents, in that order. The point is that while I am an Indian cricketer I will devote myself to that cause. Cricket is not everything, not by any means, but it is a large part of who I am. Therefore, I want to play in all formats of the game and to play as much as possible because before long it will be over. Then I’ll focus more on the Army!"
He had further added, "Sakshi provides the spark I might sometimes need. Jokes aside, she is the person to whom I have a reference. She is both loving and inspirational. Sometimes she travels with me, but cricket is easier without having to ensure her safe passage. One day, we will see the sights together and she says that then, can she please move to number two on the list of my priorities! But for the moment I am here to play cricket.
