And speaking specifically about the latter reminds us to talk about one of the most loved dance reality shows of India, Nach Baliye. The show is currently airing its 9th season and its very enthralling concept of current and ex baliyes sharing the same platform makes it one of the highest TRP grossers of Star Plus. And that’s exactly where the newsmakers of Nach Baliye 9, Madhurima Tuli and her ex-beau, Vishal Aditya Singh come into being. Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh didn’t have a pleasant breakup. The couple hadn’t sorted their indifferences properly and that was exactly when Nach Baliye 9 happened to them. Fights, slaps, allegations and insults on-stage have been a regular phenomenon for them and it slowly started coming about that due to the same, Nach Baliye is slowly turning into Bigg Boss! With much drama backed by power-packed performances, Madhurima and Vishal had upped their game until now, but sadly, as per a SpotboyE report, the couple will be evicted this week due to their unprofessionalism and poor performance in the upcoming week.
After last week’s performance of Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh on Tip Tip Barsa Pani, the former’s mother was called to the stage to talk about the duo and their breakup. While we all know what had happened there (click here if you want to know about the same in detail), online portal SpotboyE reached out to Madhurima’s mother, Vijaya Pant Tuli to talk about her daughter and her ex’s apparent eviction from the show. When the portal broke the news to Madhurima’s mother, she said, “I don't know that they are out. I have been reading reports about the same, though.”
When the portal asked Madhurima Tuli’s mother, if she isn’t taken aback by the news of their exit, she responded, “Strictly going by the reports only. Well, I think they tried their best. I would say they danced their hearts out. Their chemistry was also good.” Madhurima and Vishal were undoubtedly, the ‘stars’ of the show. Sharing her version of what might have led to Madhurima and Vishal’s exit, the former’s mother said, “You know what? While I understand that there are other jodis in the show who are dancing better than Madhurima and Vishal, I just feel that if the media would have reported Vishal and her fights lesser, the two might have lasted longer in the game. The bad press must have played on their minds. But then you never know, if they hadn't quarrelled they might not have performed with so much josh.”
Madhurima Tuli’s mother also talked about her daughter and Vishal Aditya Singh’s frequent fights on the show and added, “I think some people do fight. It is just natural. Why are we making such a big deal about Vishal and my daughter? I didn't even get into their fights. Honestly, full marks to them. I overreacted initially about Vishal, but he is just like my son.” Recalling the time when Madhurima and Vishal had parted ways, Vijaya ji said, “I still remember the day they parted ways. I never felt it happened for good. To give you another update about Madhurima Tuli, Vishal Aditya Singh and an inside scoop of Nach Baliye 9, a report had it that judge of the show, Raveena Tandon was extremely miffed with the latter for her unprofessionalism and also had an earful from her. A source had shared with Pinkvilla about the same, “Raveena was very annoyed and angry with Madhurima. Scolding her for her behaviour, Raveena told her that this is highly unprofessional and such attitude won't take her anywhere. Madhurima even said that she would not like to perform and would be happy to walk out but Raveena rapped her and asked her to complete her act and let the elimination be on them." The source had further added, "Madhurima performed the act for the heck of it and to oblige Raveena's words. However, the act was very poor and ultimately led to their elimination."
Sometime back, a video that apparently showed Madhurima Tuli slapping Vishal Aditya Singh, had created quite a hullabaloo on the internet. Opening up about the same, Vishal had stated in an interview, “I don't know who leaked it and why, and I don't even want to know. There is nothing for me to say about it, Jo hai Woh dikh Raha hai video mein. I don't want to add anything to it, because every personal quote/comment added, subtracts my efforts that I am putting in day and night on Dancing. Baat Karne se baat aur aage badegi, and I want the dance to be the focus and not any personal talks. That's why in the last 2 weeks I haven't spoken to anyone or given any interview/quote.”
Vishal Aditya Singh had also added, “The personal journey is over, let's just focus on the dance journey which is still on. If just for TRP and headlines you'll want to see us together, then absolutely get us together but speak about dance, our dance journey, the long hours of practice, our efforts that we put in to give our 100% in our performance even after this personal equation, the injuries we have suffered, how even the smallest nakhra or mudra is practised until perfection, how we are professional and dedicated towards our work. So, it's a simple thing, I don't mind doing an interview with her or anything, but let the focus be dance, uss par bhi bahut Kuch hai baat Karne ke liye." In an interview with the Bombay Times, Madhurima Tuli had talked about her ex, Vishal Aditya Singh’s rudeness and had retorted, “He has always been a little loud, but I wasn’t expecting him to bare our private life in front of the whole country. I understand we are exes, but he can’t say just anything to me. Before signing Nach, we had a great conversation. We wanted to do the show, give our best and win it. But after coming on the show, he was completely different. His behaviour was disheartening. He was never so cruel with me. Honestly, I didn’t expect this from him. I don’t say anything to him even on the show as I believe that silence speaks much louder than words."
