The actress is currently vacationing in Italy and she gave us a glimpse of her holiday. Madhuri took to her Instagram handle, and shared a picture with her 'Maharaja', Dr Nene. In the picture, we can see the two striking a perfect post for the selfie while Mr. Nene sported a turban. She captioned the picture as, "With my Maharaja in Italy". Take a look at it below:
For those who don't know, when Madhuri had decided to get married to Dr Nene, she was at the peak of her career. However, she had set her priorities straight, and hence, it gave her the confidence to distant herself from the filmy duniya. Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Madhuri had shared how her husband had no idea about her stardom, she had stated, “It was very wonderful because I was very surprised to know that he didn’t know that I am an actress and I work in Hindi film. In another interview, Madhuri had talked about her life after she got married. She had stated, “Marriage changes all of us to some degree, no matter what people say. Some of the changes are common to all marriages like your schedules and time with family, etc. It’s great to have a life partner you can depend on. At the same time, you now have to look out for the family unit. In our case, the issue of her being a celebrity makes some things difficult or impossible. This is more the case in India than in the US. However, it hasn’t really changed my identity or personality.”
In an interview with The Indian Express, Sriram had shared the details of their first meeting, "You know the film industry here, is crazy. So, I didn’t know how she would be when I first heard of her. But then I met her brother; he was so grounded and humble. And then I met her."
