Sanjay Dutt has recovered from cancer entirely and had shared the happy news of defeating cancer on his kids, Shahraan and Iqra's 10th birthday. The actor's official statement had stated that he had emerged victorious in his battle with cancer and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of his family, his friends and his millions of fans. On November 20, 2020, Maanayata Dutt took to her IG handle and shared a cute click with her kids, Shahraan and Iqra. Maanayata looked gorgeous as ever in an off-shoulder floral jumpsuit, and her little munchkins hugged their beautiful mommy. Along with the heart-warming picture, Maanayata wrote, "Today's a new day... it's your day....You shape it!! It was Maanayata Dutt and Sanjay Dutt's twins, Shahraan and Iqra's 10th birthday on October 21, 2020, and the doting mommy had shared pictures from the birthday celebrations. Sanjay Dutt was not with his twins, so he had connected with them over a video call. In the pictures, we could see Maanayata twinning with her kids in yellow. In one of the pictures, her son, Shahraan was seen blowing the candles while Maanayata had held her daughter in her arms. After recovering from cancer, Sanjay Dutt had jetted off to Dubai to reunite with his wife and kids. On October 30, 2020, Bollywood singer, Sonu Nigam had shared pictures with Sanjay Dutt from the plane. Alongside it, he had written, "Off to Dubai once again. A hale and brave Sanjay Dutt bhai and my little ones for company. Goggles and Shifu, our little puppies' now are Dubai based. So is Munna Muznabeen, my driver for the longest time. And Sanju bhai too joins us in this trip. A bliss to see him shinning. Also my brother Haresh Vaswani's mother in law Soney Hemnani. Some glimpses of the journey, I know I haven't been regular."
On the occasion of Dusshera, Sanjay Dutt's wife, Maanayata Dutt had penned a lovely note for him. Sharing a video of her hubby, Sanjay Dutt performing the puja, Maanayata Dutt had written, "Dedicating this Dusshera to someone who has been such an inspiration not only to me but to so many others.
