Born and brought up in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Varun Kapoor became every girl's crush when he first appeared on the screen in Sony's Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai as Varun Mehra. His boyish charm and sweet smile in Swaragini made his female fans go weak in the knees.

Varun is a very intimate person and unlike other celebrities from the entertainment industry, he isn't the one going out for parties. Varun got married to his long-time girlfriend Dhanya on January 24, 2013 in the presence of his family and friends. He doesn't enjoy sharing his personal life with the media.

But, in one of his interviews, he shared:
"We are very close to each other. Here in Mumbai, we have only each other for support and care. We might not engage in PDA very often, but we connect at a very different level."

Not only this, he also kept Karva Chauth's fast for his beautiful wife for the first time, and the reason behind it is beautiful.
The cute actor once shared it with his fans:
"This will be the first time I will fast for my wife. It won’t be easy, especially when I’m shooting. I want to support her, and I feel it’s unfair that only women have to fast for the good health of their husbands. I want her to live long as well. I haven’t told her that I will be fasting with her. I want it to be a surprise."

Since Dhanya works with Air India and Varun is an actor, their demanding jobs don't leave them with a lot of time. They get to stay together mostly just for 15 days a month. But, does it affect their relationship in any way? No! They both are really secure people. Even though Varun has a huge fan following, it doesn't bother his wife. They are happy in their own space.
In fact, when he was asked about how his wife deals with his huge female fan following in an interview, here is what he said:
“My wife will get bored if I don’t have a female fan following (laughs). She is quite happy to know see people loving me so much. She is not at all insecure for she knows that I’ll go back to only her at the end of the day.”
Talking about managing work and home, here is what the actor had to say:
"Dhanya is flying all the time and I am shooting. We knew this was going to come when we got married. I still feel I am part bachelor and part married, because about 15 days a month, I am managing my home on my own. But it is nice; we have just the right distance and space and look forward to being with each other more. We try and manage our time accordingly."

Varun hot hitched fairly quickly as far as actors are concerned. But, he is enjoying every bit of his married life, and that is quite clear from his following statement:
"Life after marriage has turned wonderful with a lot of changes happening around. There is always somebody to share your problem with and no matter what, if there are no ears to listen to you after marriage, there is always someone to hear what you have to say. My wife is like my backbone".
