On February 5, 2021, Lockdown Ki Love Story fame, Sana Sayyad took to her Instagram handle and made her relationship official with her boyfriend, Imaad Shamsi, by posting a breathtakingly beautiful picture. The revelation stunned her industry-mates and millions of fans, who wasted no time in dropping their blessings on the couple in the comment section of Sana's cutesy post. In the picture, the couple twinned in the shades of black and white. And their immense love for each other is quite evident in their eyes. Along with the picture, Sana penned a heart-melting note for her boyfriend, and it can be read as "Idk what did I do to deserve you but I'm just happy to be along for this ride thankie and IlY."

In an interview with the Bombay Times, Sana Sayyad opened-up about her love story with her boyfriend, Imaad Shamsi and said, "We know each other since 7 to 8 years as we were in college together. We had a few mutual friends, so we were in touch with each other over the years, but we never thought we would start dating." The actress added after her show was aired on television, they had spent some quality time with each other. After some time, things had started moving in the right direction for both of them. She added, "I am happy that I finally found someone who's on the same page with me. So we have just officially started dating each other, and we decided to put it on our social media handles."
Sana Sayyad also talked about settling down with her beau, Imaad Shamsi and when they're planning to get married. On which, Divya Drishti actress said, "I am very sure about my relationship with Imaad. I have manifested a partner like him for so long that finally it has come through. Yes we want to settle down. He has told his family about us, and I also told my mother about it. I feel things are turning well for us. But we aren't planning to settle down this year because I want to give this year to myself, so may be in 2 or 3 years we would like to be settled together." Concluding her interview, Sana praised Imaan and stated that he's an extremely supportive, caring, and loving partner.
