Television actress, Sara Khan is currently a contestant in Kangana Ranaut's controversial show, Lock Upp, and she is also one of the strongest participants in the show. The actress is the headlines since her ex-husband, Ali Mercchant had made his way inside the show. From watching them fighting over their past to accusing each other of shocking allegations, the ex-couple have taken the bar of their fights a notch higher. During their recent argument inside the show, Sara and Ali made massive allegations against each other.
For the unversed, Sara Khan was earlier married to Ali Mercchant, and their wedding had taken place in 2010 on national television inside the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 4. However, sadly, things soon had fallen apart, and they had eventually decided to part ways. Ali and Sara had got divorced in 2011.

In the recent episode of the controversial celebrity reality show, Lock Upp, Sara Khan and Ali Mercchant indulged in an intense war of words over their past and accused one another with so many hurtful remarks. While on one side, Sara Khan told her ex-husband to stop trying to talk to her because she is still suffering because of him in her life. On the other side, Ali took a dig at Sara's personal life and questioned why she did not settle down in her life. After hearing Ali’s hurtful comment on her life, Sara said, “Tu mujhe bata raha hai ki mai apni life mein settle nahi ho paayi, jisne sabse zyada meri zindagi barbaad ki.” In reply to this, Ali said:
"Tumne khudne meri life bahut zyada barbaad ki. Mujhe bhi pata chal raha hai tum kaisi chal rahi thi, isliye khud settle nahi ho paayi."
Before Sara Khan's fight with her ex-husband, Ali Mercchant, the Bidaai actress was having a conversation with co-contestant and actor, Karanvir Bohra and shared some shocking revelations about their marriage. Sara shockingly revealed that Ali had cheated on her after he was romantically involved with one of their spa members. The actress confirmed that it had happened while they were married, and despite this case of infidelity, Sara had still forgiven him just to save their marriage because Ali was her first love. However, Sara told Karanvir that Ali had cheated on her several times. She said:
"He (Ali Mercchant) keeps trying all the time and that is annoying. That's when the disrespect comes in. I have given him chances all the time. Everytime I have given him a chance, I have caught him. I have caught each of his lies. In three and half years I have given him 300 chances. He was my first and obviously you just don't let it go. And to come out of it, I took four and half years to move on in my life."

In an interview with The Times Of India, Sara Khan had opened up about her marriage with her ex-husband, Ali Mercchant and her love life. Talking about her decision of marrying Ali on national television and regretting it. Sara had further shared that she wants to get married even when she has not been lucky in matters of the heart. Sara had said:
"My decisions have made me what I am today. While there are no regrets, the Bigg Boss controversy is something that I can't erase. I want to get married and have a family. Love is beautiful, though I have been unfortunate. All you need is a compatible partner and somebody who loves you for who you are. It's all about understanding each other and being by each other's side. This is what is lacking in today's relationships."
