Popular television actress, Ketki Dave is going through one of the biggest losses of her life at the moment. The actress, who is famous for bringing a smile to people's faces with her comic timing, is inconsolable now. The reason behind it is the sudden demise of her husband and popular actor, Rasik Dave. The actor passed away at the age of 65, and it came as a shock to the television industry.
Apart from participating in the iconic dance reality show, Nach Baliye, with his wife, Ketki, Rasik had also worked in theatre and a Gujarati film by the name, Putra Vadhu. The actor was rarely spotted with his wife as he always preferred to guard his personal life from the shutterbugs. The couple is blessed with two kids, and no wonder it is a heartbreaking moment for them to realise that their father is no longer with them.

According to a report in ETimes, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress, Ketki Dave's husband, Rasik Dave passed away on July 29, 2022. As per the reports, Rasik Dave died due to kidney failure. The actor has been on dialysis for the last two years, but his health had deteriorated tremendously in the past month. The actor is best known for playing the character, 'Nand' in the iconic television show, Mahabharata. As soon as the news of Rasik Dave's demise hit the headlines, condolences started pouring on the way of his wife, Ketki Dave and their kids, Riddhi Dave and Abhishek Dave.
The late actor, Rasik Dave's fanbase is numbed at the moment, as the actor's untimely demise at the age of 65 is hard to digest for his loyal fans. As soon as the news of his demise made its way on the internet, popular Indian filmmaker, Ashoke Pandit shared his reaction to the heartbreaking news. The President of the Indian Film and Television Director's Association took to his Twitter handle and revealed that Rashik Dave was one of his close friends. He also poured immense compliments and praises on Rasik, and his painful tweet can be read as:
"Sad to know about the demise of a dear friend Rasik Dave who was a versatile actor on stage, TV and films due to kidney failure. Heartfelt condolences to his wife Ketaki Dave and his entire family. Will always be remembered. OM Shanti!"

During his acting career in the television industry, Rasik Dave had made many friends, but his bond with famous television actor, Jamnadas Majethia was second to none. Often referred to as the 'best friends', Rasik and Jamnadas often hanged out together and shared a beautiful bond with their respective families too. When the news of Rasik's demise reached Jamnadas, the latter tweeted his condolences on Twitter. In his heartbreaking tweet, Jamnadas referred to Rasik as his 'brother' and admitted that he is devastated by this heart-wrenching news. His tweet can be read as:
"Heartbroken and deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Rasik Dave. Gone too soon brother. May God give your family the strength to get through his difficult time. Om Shanti."
