Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan's lives changed for the best when they hopped on to parenthood with the arrival of their sunshine, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. It was on September 29, 2017, when they had welcomed their baby girl, and since she was born on the ninth day of Navratri, the star parents decided to keep Naumi as her middle name.
The feelings Inaaya has for her daddy, Kunal, were expressed beautifully when on his 37th birthday, she had given him the best present ever. Soha had posted a picture of Inaaya holding a balloon while Kunal held his birthday present, a yellow frame with Inaaya's handprints on it which read as "Best Papa Ever Hands Down".

On September 17, 2021, Kunal hosted an Ask Me Anything session with his fans, where he answered many questions related to his professional as well as personal life. During the interaction, one of his fans asked him, "Please share your fondest memory with Inaaya." To which Kunal posted an unseen picture of Inaaya, flying in the air, while he looked at her with astonishment. Revealing his fondest memory with Inaaya, Kunal wrote, "The day she made me realise that girls can fly."
Sometime back, Kunal Kemmu had taken to his IG stories to post a picture from a tattoo studio, wherein he was all set to get inked. He had posted a picture of the same on his IG handle in October 2020. Revealing his tattoo to be his little girl, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu’s name, Kunal had explained the same in the caption, “This ink is the closest to my heart emotionally and literally as well. My little girl is and will always be a part of me. Her name Inaaya is at the centre in Devanagari and her middle name Naumi meaning Goddess Durga is represented by the Red Bindi (artistic) in the middle and the Trishul at both ends.”

On the occasion of Daughter's Day, Kunal had taken to his Instagram handle and had penned a lovely wish for his baby girl. He had posted a perfect picture with his daughter, Inaaya, wherein he could be seen looking at her lovingly while she was lost in her thoughts. Alongside it, Kunal had written, "When the world fits in your arms and you can embrace the life in it..the only relationship that’s cemented for life the moment it starts is that of a parent and their child. To every parent and to every daughter. #HappyDaughtersDay."
Kunal dotes on his baby girl and often shares glimpses of his daddy duties. On January 11, 2021, Soha had captured Kunal and Inaaya's cute antics. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a lovely video of their daughter and Kunal. In the video, we could see Kunal tying a plait of Inaaya's unicorn. Soha had captioned the video as "Daddy duty seems to be going well today! #yousaiduna."
