Bollywood's one of the legendary filmmakers, Kuku Kohli is known for his film, Phool Aur Kaante, starring Ajay Devgn. He had last directed the movie, Woh Tera Naam Tha in 2004, and since then, he has been missing from the big screens. Recently, in a media interaction, he talked about his plans to return with big projects and reacted to his extra-marital affairs and marriage with Bollywood actress, Aruna Irani.
For the unversed, Kuku Kohli was already married when he had fallen head over heels with the gorgeous Bollywood diva, Aruna Irani. However, it was in 1990 when the duo had tied the knot in a hush-hush wedding ceremony and had kept it away from the media glares.

In a recent interview with ETimes, when Kuku Kohli was asked to reveal his love story with Aruna Irani, as the actress had done the same a few months back, the filmmaker refused to comment on it. Later, when he was asked to respond on the matter that many celebrities have two marriages, Kuku said:
"Dekho, ye saari cheezen to hoti rehti hain hamare industry mein. We work together, exchange ideas..."
In the same conversation, Kuku was asked whether he and Aruna stay together and how difficult or easy it is to handle two families. To this, the filmmaker confirmed it and talked about managing his two families. In his words:
"It is neither easy nor difficult; it depends how you manage."

A while back, Aruna Irani had talked about her bond with Kuku Kohli in an interview with ETimes. Talking about it, Aruna had mentioned that she didn't know about Kuku's previous marriage. Clarifying her decision to talk about her and Kuku's relationship now, the gorgeous diva had shared:
“He even didn't tell me that he was married when we met and that's how I fell in love with him. So it didn't look good to speak about our relationship as he was married already with a wife and daughters. Now I am talking about it because his first wife passed away a few months back.”
For the unversed, Kuku Kohli was previously married to Rita Kohli who had passed away in 2021. Kuku and Rita have two daughters, Pooja and Karishma.
