For the ones who don’t know, of late, it was reported that Kritika Kamra has got secretly engaged with her long-time beau, Uday Singh Gauri. Kritika has been rumoured to be in a relationship with him for a year now. Uday Singh Gauri is the CEO of a talent management company named Exceed Entertainment. Revealing about Kritika and Uday’s engagement, Filmymonkey’s report stated, "Kritika Kamra has apparently, decided to take her relationship with longtime beau Uday Singh Gauri one step ahead. The actress recently got engaged with her boyfriend in a secret ceremony." Now, the Mitron actress herself has come out and shared the real truth behind the rumours. In an interview with SpotboyE, Kritika rubbished her engagement news and was quoted as saying, “I am not engaged. Happy happenings are meant to be proudly declared. Why would I hide it if I had got engaged? Whenever I get engaged, I shall announce it.” And when she was asked if there was no hush-hush roka, she said, “Not at all”. Earlier when Uday was contacted to get the clear picture, he was quoted as saying, “I’m surprised with this news. It is not true and whenever something like this happens, people will surely get to know about it.”
When she was further probed to tell her love story with Uday, she replied, “It's not so dramatic”. Adding further, she was quoted as saying, “Well, I have known him for quite some time now. The moment I have something concrete, something like a stamp- I will talk.” When the interviewer stated that you both are happy together, she laughed off and replied, “I am very happy with myself (laughs)”. On being asked if there is a certain sort of opposition from either of the families, she said, “Who opposes these days? These discussions are not happening”. Talking about her last film, she stated, “I think it should have been marketed better but then who am I to really judge? I don't call the shots. And trust me, whatever the box-office returns it fetched- I am very proud of the film.
