It is going to be two months since Sushant’s death and after all the silent protests and social media brawl, Sushant’s suicide case is finally in the hands of CBI. After the altercation between Mumbai police and Bihar police, Central government had handed over the case to CBI as demanded by the fans, family and Bihar government. A lot of celebrities had hailed the decision as as it brought us a step closer to the truth, and now, Sushant’s co-star from Raabta and dear friend, Kriti Sanon has voiced her opinion about the same. Kriti Sanon had penned a cryptic poem for Sushant Singh Rajput on his one-month death anniversary, which could be read as “And in between a guilty laughter that pretended to move on, Her eyes shed tears of reality and broke all her delusion.” Although Kriti had not mentioned Sushant’s name but it was quite evident in her poem that she was referring to him. Sushant’s father too, in an interview with Punjab Kesari’s entertainment portal, Tadka Bollywood, had stated that it was only Kriti, who had come to them and talked with them. This shows, how close Kriti Sanon was to Sushant Singh Rajput.
Now, amidst the CBI probe in SSR’s case, Kriti took to her IG handle to share another cryptic post and poem written by her. Her post can be read as “Its cloudy, Its Foggy, Its all so unclear. But they say truth is like the sun, it is always there. So don't speculate, just patiently wait. For its gonna windy for a while and its gonna rain. But remember my friend, sometimes a storm is just making way for the sun to shine again." Along with the post, she wrote, "patience" as her caption. Her post is a sign that she has hope that the truth will come out some day!
Kriti was extremely close to Sushant, and the two had shared a great bond. Two days after Sushant’s death, on June 16, 2020, she had written an emotional note as her last tribute. She had shared pictures with him and had written, "Sush.. I knew that your brilliant mind was your best friend and your worst enemy. But it has broken me completely to know that you had a moment in your life where Dying felt easier or better than Living. I so wish you had people around you to get you past THAT moment, I wish you hadn't't pushed the ones who loved you away. I wish I could have fixed that something which was broken inside you..I couldn't't. I wish so so many things. A part of my heart has gone with you and a part will always keep you alive. Just like us, Sushant's best friend and actress, Kriti Sanon's heart also got broken after watching his last film, Dil Bechara. On July 26, 2020, Kriti had taken to her Instagram handle and had penned a heartwrenching note for him. She had written, "Its not Seri! And it will never sink in. This broke my heart, again. In Manny, i saw YOU come alive in so so many moments.. i knew exactly where you had put in a bit of yourself in the character..And as always, your most magical bits were your silences.. those bits where you said nothing and yet u said so much! @castingchhabra I know this film will always mean a lot more to you than what we had thought.
