There is nothing that is hidden from the eagle eye of the Bollywood gossipmongers and the celebrity couple rumour mill is always churning new stories and linkups of their favourite star. While most of them are just tittle-tattle and evaporates when the heat is gone, there are some pieces of news that we hope in our deepest hearts to be true. And one such news is of Bollywood actress Kriti Kharbanda's dating rumour with Pulkit Samrat. The rumours of Pulkit dating Kriti had been making the rounds every now and then. However, the duo had always dodged the question and never accepted their relationship. The rumours got fire when they were spotted together at Fukrey Returns actor, Varun Sharma’s birthday bash. And it got more heed when Kriti landed to Chennai to give a surprise to her alleged boyfriend, Pulkit who was shooting for a film at that time.
Recently, in an interview with ETimes, Kriti confirmed her relationship with Pulkit. She shared that those rumours were true but at that point in time, she wanted her parents to know first. She further shared that they took five months of time to finally open up on their love and let the world know. She was quoted as saying, "No, they are not rumours. We are dating each other. In all honesty, I wanted my parents to know first that I’m dating someone and when you start seeing someone, it’s I think there’s a time for everything when you’re comfortable talking about it. Sometimes it can take five years; sometimes it can take five months. In our case, it was five months, but I’m in a very happy place and I have no qualms admitting that I am dating Pulkit Samrat."
Earlier, in an interview with the IANS, Kriti had denied it all and had said, "Can you blame them (for spreading the rumours)? We look so hot together. We have such great chemistry and look so cute together. Anybody would guess that we are in a relationship. Pulkit is very special to me and will always be so. We even complete each other’s sentences while talking. I know what he is thinking. We have connected so much and had a lot of conversation. I think we have come to a point where we don’t need to say anything to each other. We both know what the other one is thinking. He has changed drastically in the last one year and I am in awe. I am so impressed with the way he carries himself, the way he conducts himself and the respect he has for his co-actors and seniors. I know he is a good person and he is here to stay." For those who don’t know, Pulkit was earlier married to Shweta Rohira. The couple had tied the knot in November 2014, but soon their marriage started falling and they had parted ways after 11 months. If rumours are to be believed, it was written and said that Pulkit had cheated on his wife, Shewta with his Sanam Re co-star, Yami Gautam.
However, Pulkit's thoughts on love didn't get affected after a failed marriage, in an interview with the DNA, he had shared, "My take on love will always be the same. It can strike you any time. You cannot not fall in love. It’s not ki main kabhi pyaar nahi karunga, but I have made a small commitment to myself. I am not going to be in a relationship till at least Valentine’s Day 2020!"
