Late legendary actress, Sridevi Kapoor's untimely demise had broken many hearts, but it was her daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, whose entire world had come to a halt. Recently, Sridevi's youngest daughter, Khushi Kapoor was spotted taking her dog out for a walk, and it was her phone wallpaper that proved that she misses her mother every hour of the day.
It was on February 24, 2018, when India had woken up to the news of legendary actress, Sridevi Kapoor's demise. The reports had stated that Sridevi had died due to accidental drowning in Dubai. Since then, Sridevi had left a permanent void in the Kapoor family. We have often seen Janhvi's moist eyes, which longs to see her mother's face and Khushi, who just wants to hug her mommy again. However, the sister duo knows how to stay strong for their father, Boney Kapoor.
On May 18, 2021, Khushi Kapoor took her pooch out for a walk and was captured by paparazzi. However, it was during the walk, we got a glimpse of Khushi's phone wallpaper, which had her mother, Sridevi's picture on it. For those who don't know, when Khushi Kapoor was just 16-year-old, she had faced a lot of trolls body-shaming her. But the youngest Kapoor diva made sure to give a befitting reply to her haters. She had penned a long note and had proved that she is one strong girl and no one can mess with her. Her note could be read as "I post my pictures because I feel good and confident. I put out these pictures not because I want to show off or try to be anyone or anything else. I have my own sense of style and my own way to think and me putting out a picture that's accessible to so many people is taken more of an opportunity to judge me or my looks, clothes or anything else. I put something out there because it's something I feel good about, everyone is entitled to have their own opinion but putting someone else down because of it is not making you any better of a person."
In a throwback interview with the Mid-Day, Sridevi had talked about her daughter, Khushi's strong note and had said, "For me, they will always be kids. But they seem to have taken less after me and more after my bold screen image. Last year, when Khushi wrote a post about body shaming on Instagram, I was pleasantly surprised to see my kid turn into a strong, opinionated and sharp young woman."
Well, Khushi is definitely a doting daughter!
