In a candid interview with the Mid-Day, Bollywood actor, Vidyut talked about his personal life with his upcoming film, Khuda Haafiz's actress, Shivaleeka Oberoi and director, Faruk Kabir. When the actor was told that his fans desperately want to know what's his relationship status is. After giving a small smile, Vidyut said, "Jo mere najdeek hai unhe toh pata hai. Google ko nahi pata magar. Par Google kareeb nahi hai mere." Adding to his statement, film's director, Faruk Kabir said, "I'm sure, enko rozz Twitter aur Instagram pe rishte aate honge." And, it was Shivaleeka, who ended it by adding, "Khuda Haafiz ki release ke baad bahut rishte aane wale hai." Talking about Vidyut Jammwal's relationship status, then he has been linked with his long-term friend and actress, Adah Sharma for most of his career. However, the two had denied all these reports numerous times in their interviews. Well, the rumours of these two celebrities being in a relationship had started doing rounds after the release of their film, Commando 2. There have been reports of them spending more time on the sets and also having a great bond with each other. Both Vidyut and Adah never skipped a chance to shower their praises on each other too.

In my opinion, she is one of the most talented actors in India, you will get the confirmation after Commando 2. Sometimes you need that one movie which does it for 2. Commando 2 will do it for her."
On April 23, 2020, Vidyut Jammwal had taken to his Twitter handle and had retweeted a video of Adah Sharma, who could be seen talking about nepotism in Bollywood at Ted Talk. Sharing the video, the actor had written a few lines in which he had advised his followers to see her video, and it could be read as "My personal favourite...Articulate and funny...A must watch." After which, a lot of fans had started asking him about his relationship rumours with Adah Sharma and Vidyut had decided to answer those questions. The actor had revealed in his tweet quoting the question, "Just friends?"
