Television actress, Kavita Kaushik is still remembered across the nation for her character, 'Chandramukhi Chautala', from the hit show, FIR. However, the actress had shocked her fans when she had decided to marry her boyfriend, Ronnit Biswas, on January 27, 2017, as not many people were aware of their relationship.
However, time and again, Kavita Kaushik and her husband, Ronnit Biswas, have dodged the question of embracing parenthood. But this time, Kavita has addressed the idea of becoming parents and explained why she and her husband, Ronnit, aren't thinking about raising their kids in India.
In an interview with ETimes, Kavita Kaushik was asked about her plans to embrace motherhood and enquired her to open up about her and husband, Ronnit Biswas' take on becoming parents. Answering this, the actress stated an interesting answer while taking a dig at India's population. Kavita stated that she and Ronnit have no plans to extend their family in India. She said, "I have a cat and a dog and they are my family and I have no desire to bring a child into this overpopulated country."
This isn't the first time when Kavita Kaushik has given a surprising answer to the question of embracing parenthood. In 2019, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kavita was asked to talk about the idea of embracing parenthood. To this, the actress had stated, "I don't want to be unfair to the child. If I have a child in my 40s, by the time my child would be 20, we would've touched our old age. I don't want our child to take care of old parents in his/her 20s."
And it's not only her decision, but even her husband, Ronnit Biswas, also supports her on the same, and they have mutually decided not to have kids. Going further in her answer, Kavita had also added that she doesn't want to bring a child to this overcrowded world. She had explained, "Maybe we are not maternal and paternal as people. We want to make the world a lighter place and don't want to bring up a child to this overcrowded city and throw him in the struggles of Mumbai."
In the same interview, Kavita Kaushik had also shared that instead of having a biological child of their own, she and her husband, Ronnit Biswas, believe in adoption. She had added, "We've already adopted our father's extended family in the village in Rajasthan. We take care of them in the best of our capabilities. We like to do things for others."
On the professional front, Kavita Kaushik was last seen in Bigg Boss OTT as a wildcard on the Day 22 of the show.
