Bollywood buffs witnessed one of the biggest weddings of the year in December 2021 when the stunning Katrina Kaif had tied the knot with the handsome Vicky Kaushal. After months of speculations, Katrina and Vicky had begun their forever journey on December 9, 2021, at the lavish Six Senses Fort, Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
After the wedding, when the newlyweds had posted their first pictures, it was nothing less than a dream for their fans. More than their royal outfits, it was Vicky and Katrina's happiness, which had made the pictures surreal. Sharing pictures on their respective social media handles from the biggest moment of their lives, the doting couple had written:
"Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together."

A few moments back, Katrina took to her IG stories and shared a glimpse of her Chaunka Chardhana, i.e., her first rasoi. The stunning actress flaunted her cooking skills by posting a picture of sooji ka halwa prepared by her. Atop the picture, the new bride, Katrina wrote, "Maine Banaya… chaunka chardhana."
On December 14, 2021, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal had taken to their respective IG handles and had shared a few unseen photos from one of their pre-wedding festivities. In the pictures, Katrina and Vicky both could be seen wearing pastel pink-coloured floral embroidered outfits. The then-bride and groom had paid homage to Katrina's mother's British heritage by wearing the vintage-styled couture and carrying hand-picked flowers in a bouquet. The couple had shared the pictures with a caption that could be read as:
"To love, honour and cherish."

After two months of dating each other, Vicky had decided that Katrina was the one for him, but the actress wasn't so sure of it. A close source to the couple had revealed to Rediff.com:
"It was all so sudden… their meeting, courtship, romance, marriage. Vicky decided with two months of their relationship that she was the woman he wanted to spend his life with. Katrina was less sure. She was still hurting from the wounds of her previous break-up. She liked Vicky, but she needed time."
The source had further mentioned that even though the Ek Tha Tiger actress, Katrina, had liked Vicky very much, she wasn't sure about getting married and thus had given a pre-condition to the actor. The source was quoted as saying:
"He pursued her until she said yes to marriage. But she put forward one precondition. He had to give her family, her mother and siblings, the same love and respect he gives her."
We still can't get over Vicky and Katrina's dreamy wedding!
