After many celebrities have gotten diagnosed with Coronavirus, Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif also revealed that she has been tested positive for COVID-19. The global pandemic had hit the nation last year and it has gained pace again as India has entered the second wave of COVID-19. Within just a few days, celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and many more had announced that they have been diagnosed with the deadly virus.

For those who don't know, just a day ago, Katrina Kaif's rumoured boyfriend, Vicky Kaushal had revealed that he has been battling Coronavirus. The actor had taken to his Instagram handle and had written, "In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor."
On April 6, 2021, Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram handle to announce that she has been tested positive for Coronavirus. She posted an Instagram story, which can be read as "I have tested positive for COVID-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe and take care."
Coming back to Katrina and Vicky's link-up rumours. Well, we all know, she has always tried to keep her personal life private. But she cannot dodge the media's interest in her relationship status. On the other hand, every girl is eyeing on the man everyone wants next door, Vicky Kausal. In the year 2019, the actor had confirmed that he is single and ready to mingle. And since then there have been conjectures of the two dating each other.

On Vicky Kaushal's birthday last year, Katrina had wished him in 'Uri style' as she had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared a video snippet of Vicky Kaushal from his National Award Winning film, Uri: The Surgical Strike. Alongside it, she had written, "May the josh always be high Happy birthday @vickyakaushal09."
Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Vicky was asked if he is dating Katrina. To this, the actor had clearly stated that he wants to guard his personal life to some extent because if he opens on it, it will lead to discussions and interpretations and misinterpretations. That is something which he doesn't want to invite. He had further added that he thought it is better that way, as he can guard his personal life to some extent and he doesn't want to open up about anything.
