And Bollywood actress, Kashmera Shah, who is always known for her fit body, had gained close to 13-14 kilos of weight in the last few years. However, Kashmera is back to her fit self, and she has been making headlines for her jaw-dropping transformation. Her husband, Krushna Abhishek was trolled by the netizens for comparing Kashmera to 'biryani' in a social media post. Recently, the actress opened up on the same.
Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Kashmera reacted on her hubby, Krushna being trolled for calling her 'biryani'. She said, "Krushna is my husband and he can call me whatever he wants. He wasn't objectifying women. He can call me Dal Makhani, non-sense Nimbu Paani, whatever he wants as he is my husband, who are you to stop him. 'Aye bade defend karne waale'. These are the people who are bringing me down and then defending me. One moment they will praise someone, and the next moment they will bring that person down. They don't have a real side. They have no backbone and no stand. I am very sure there will be a rule one day that when you provide your identity, only then you will get an account on social media."
In the same interview, Kashmera also talked about gaining weight after getting married and babies. She said, "I have always done very bold photoshoots and bold roles because I've always been very proud of my body. But what happened that in the last decade I got busy getting into this new life. I got married eight years ago, then I came into a new family. I had my father-in-law and then you don't tend to not really do bold photographs just for the sake of doing it. Then you become more domesticated, you try to do such roles only when you are shooting for a project. Then babies came into my life." Kashmera also talked about gaining weight because of her IVF treatment to conceive which had failed in her case, but it had affected her body. The actress stated that when she was trying to conceive, during that struggle, she had put on a lot of weight. Then when Kashmera had opted for IVF, her body completely went for a toss. She had stopped looking after herself. Kashmera further added, "So, I started slipping into a married, kids, family kind of a comfort zone. I forget I have always been known for a good body. I started ignoring myself till this year in 2020 in January when I sat at home and went on a weighing scale and realised that I had put on 12 kgs. I have never in my life been 14 kgs overweight. It has always been 1 or 2 kilos max. I felt this was just not done."
For those who don't know, Krushna was badly trolled for sharing a sizzling picture of his wife, Kashmera, wherein she was donning a black monokini. Kashmera was looking super gorgeous, but it was Krushna's caption that had raised many eyebrows and invited trollers. Along with the picture, the comedian had written, "When you have Biryani at home why will you want Dal Makhani outside? So proud of you kash you are back to your hot self @kashmera1 #wife #hotness #kashisback."
Netizens were displeased with the 'objective' comparison and expressed their views. One user had written, "Ye app apni wife ke liye likh rahe hain aur share kar rahe hai.. ?"
