The duo will soon appear in Imtiaz Ali’s sequel of Love Aaj Kal together and we can’t be more excited! From turning gym buddies, laughing their hearts out to holidaying in disguise together, Sara and Kartik are on the way towards becoming the next ‘IT’ thing in Bollywood. Shutterbugs snapped Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, coming out from their dance rehearsals, with him, holding the umbrella over his and his rumoured ladylove’s head to save them from the rain! A couple of videos and pictures of Sara and Kartik from the same had driven their fans crazy on the internet! While some pictures had Sara and Kartik, ‘arm-in-hand’ with each other, others had the two pose together, wearing Himachali Pahari caps as the Simmba girl kept her hand on her crush’s chest. All of these glances had made their fans think that Sara and Kartik are totally behaving like a newly-married couple on honeymoon! All Sara Ali Khan fans should totally know that she is completely in awe of her mommy, Amrita Singh and has self-admittedly said that she would never want to stay away from her, even after marriage. Hence, when she was shooting for Aaj Kal with Kartik in Himachal, she would often FaceTime her mother, Amrita and her ‘rumoured’ beau would also join in to talk to her! A source had shared with BollywoodLife, “Sara was away shooting in Himachal Pradesh for a long time for Love Aaj Kal. She would FaceTime with her mom daily as and when she was free. Even Kartik Aaryan would join in the conversations at times. Amrita ji did not mind and would chat with him as well."
It all started at Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan season 6, when during one of the most-awaited and fun segments of the show, Rapid Fire, Karan had asked Sara to name the actor she would like to date. To this, Sara had at once replied, "I want to marry Ranbir Kapoor. I don't want to date him. I want to date Kartik Aaryan." Karan had further added, “I’m sure he wouldn’t mind dating you. Should I take the proposal?” An excited Sara had then exclaimed, “Tell him, na!” When probed further if Sara liked Kartik's big hair, she had answered “Yeah!”
Later, when Kartik Aaryan had appeared on Koffee With Karan season 6 with Kriti Sanon, he had an amazing reply to Saif Ali Khan’s answer where he had questioned and answered at the same time, “Does he have money? Then take her [Sara Ali Khan]” To this, Kartik had blushingly replied, “So, what I'm doing is, sir, I'm just trying to, you know, earn more and more money right now. Saif (Ali Khan) sir said, 'Does he have the money?' So, I'm just..." Karan had interjected here and had further probed, “And, you clearly don't have the money that can match the Prince of Pataudi.” To this, Kartik had answered, “I don't know. She is a princess.
