Karisma Kapoor is back to being friends with her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur. The duo was spotted on a dinner date on the weekend. For the unversed, it was in 2014, when Karisma Kapoor shocked the entire nation when she levied her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, of physical abuse. Not only that, she had even accused him of trying to auction her during their honeymoon. Karisma and Sanjay got divorced in the year 2016.
On May 27, 2023, Karisma and Sunjay were spotted together outside a restaurant. The former actress looked gorgeous in a black floral dress. She kept her look subtle with soft makeup and open hair. She carried a satchel bag that accentuated her look. On the other hand, Sunjay was decked up in a formal pantsuit. The actress smiled as she headed towards her car, after dining with her ex.

This is not the first time when Karisma and Sunjay met after their ugly divorce battle. On March 12, 2023, Karisma and Sunjay came together for their son, Kiaan Kapur's birthday lunch celebration. To everyone's surprise, her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, had arrived with his wife, Priya Sachdev also appeared with their son. Karisma looked in a rush, and on the plea of the shutterbugs, she posed for the camera. She looked happy and extremely comfortable.

However, netizens were quick to react to this strange date. They recalled when Karisma accused Sunjay of physical abuse, mercilessly beating her on honeymoon when she refused to sleep with one of his friends. As a result, the couple was granted divorce in 2016.
