While they love vacationing in Gstaad in winter, London it is for the Pataudi family, in summer. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan’s vacation pictures have always been a sight for sore eyes. Earlier, it was Kareena’s manager, Poonam Damania, her sister, Karisma Kapoor, sister-in-law, Soha Ali Khan and brother-in-law, Kunal Kemmu, who used to give us glimpses of their family vacations. Now that Kareena had made her debut on social media, her profile is a delight to scroll! During the lockdown, Kareena had posted a ‘once upon a time on a beach holiday…’ picture with Saif and Taimur on her Instagram. In their throwback picture from the 2018 Maldives vacation, Bebo could be seen flaunting a red bikini, Saif had donned brown shorts and baby Tim had taken our hearts away in his blue shorts, drinking the coconut water. Kareena had captioned her post as “I am not dreaming of beaches... You are! #TakeMeBack” followed by a heart emoji.
To wish her friend, Alexandra Galligan, Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a throwback picture with her and Saif Ali Khan. Bebo captioned her post as “Happy birthday my darling Gally. We miss us all being together... very soon... god willing. Here’s to Chiswick dinners hugs ...” For the uninitiated, Chiswick is a district of West London, England, known to serve typical British cuisine. In the throwback picture, Saif, Kareena and Alexandra had happily posed for the camera as they enjoyed the winter sun in Chiswick. Just a few days back, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s little bundle of joy, Taimur Ali Khan turned four and his special day had begun with lovely wishes from his family but the best one had come from his amma. Kareena had posted a video of her Tim that comprised of some priceless memories of the little one. She had captioned her post as “My child... I’m happy at four you have such determination, dedication and focus on what you want to do... which is now picking up the haystack and feeding the cow... God bless you my hardworking boy... but on the way, don’t forget to taste the snow, pluck flowers, jump up and down, climb trees and ofcourse eat all your cake... Saba Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Karisma Kapoor and Samaira Kapoor had also wished Taimur Ali Khan on his fourth birthday. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had hosted a fourth birthday bash for Taimur at their residence which was attended by his nanu-nani, Randhir Kapoor and Babita, maasi and cousin sister, Karisma and Samaira Kapur, bua, uncle and cousin, Soha, Kunal and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. For the birthday bash, baby Tim was dressed in a black printed t-shirt and a pair of blue denim. Kareena had flaunted her pregnancy glow in a bright yellow ensemble and Saif had kept it simple and elegant in a blue and white kurta-pyjama. Kareena and Soha had posted beautiful pictures from Taimur’s birthday celebrations. In a family picture, Inaaya couldn't take her eyes off her gorgeous mami, Kareena while everyone else had posed for the camera.
In a 2018 interview with Conde Nast Traveller, Saif Ali Khan had talked about how travelling changed for the couple after Taimur Ali Khan’s birth, what kind of holidays they take and the experiences they want their little one to have. Saif had said, “Despite having the idea of trying different things, we’ve ended up (and my wife is quite annoyed about this) going to the same places and doing the same things every year—London in summer, Gstaad in winter, with some parts of India, like Rajasthan and Pataudi, in between. We would have liked to go to more places in Italy and France—and we will. But you know, there is also something comforting about going to the same places, because the people know you and the hotel feels like home. With Taimur, we also end up travelling with a bit of an entourage.
