Kareena Kapoor Khan has been changing norms regarding pregnancy since 2016 when she was pregnant with her first child. She has always been vocal about her struggles with pregnancy, the joy of motherhood and managing work-life. Kareena is a mother of two and often we have seen her juggling her role as an actor and as a mother. It can be hard to be in a space where you have so much to do, and Kareena, now, shared how she divides time between her two kids.
For the unversed, it was in 2012 when Kareena Kapoor had become a 'Khan' after her nikaah with Saif Ali Khan. Four years later, in December 2016, Kareena and Saif had welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan. After more than four years, in February 2021, Taimur became a big brother when Kareena and Saif had welcomed their second child, Jehangir Ali Khan, into their lives.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is blessed with two gorgeous kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan and sure they both demand time from their mother. In an episode of the Raising Parents with Mansi Zaveri podcast, Kareena Kapoor talked about how she balances her time between her two kids, Taimur and Jehangir. She said:
"I think that the fact is that I am a very calm person, I am very composed. I divide my time well. Like I know Taimur needs me at this point in time. You know I am lucky that he now wakes up later than Jeh's so I know I have to be with Jeh for that hour while he has his breakfast and then once Jeh's breakfast is done I know Taimur's time is you know coming in. So I just balance it out. The idea is to not have too much pressure on like doing things. The idea is to involve children to take part in your daily life. It's not like we have to do this and we have to do that. We are not those kind of parents."
Kareena Kapoor Khan was 36 when she was pregnant with Taimur Ali Khan and 40 when she was pregnant with Jehangir Ali Khan. In the same podcast, she also talked about how society has made late pregnancy a taboo. She mentioned:
"I never planned having a baby because you know I was like in 36 or Oh my biological clock is ticking so I need to speed it up or whatever. That was not even a thought or discussion because I was like I married Saif for love. I did that. I wanted to have a child so I did it. It so happened. I didn't give much thought because my thought was always on my work and you know being happy and content with myself. So I don't think late mothers should have this pressure."

Earlier, in an interview with Film Companion, Kareena had talked about her parenting tips and had opened up on how she has made her son, Taimur accustomed to the fact that his mother is equal to his father. She had said:
“Well in the case of Tim and Jeh, I think the idea is that they see me go to work even now. Like when, every time I put on my shoes, Taimur asks ‘where are you going?’ My answer is ‘I’m going to work or I’m going to shoot or I’m going for an event or I’m going for a meeting because amma has to work’. So, abba works and so does amma. I think growing up looking at the fact that in this house, it’s not just the man who does things, we both do things equally.''
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, which will release in 2022.
