Kareena Kapoor Khan and her love for Gstaad is well-known! We have often seen her post about her memories from the place, of course, because the pandemic has limited down the travel. Kareena along with her husband, Saif Ali Khan and son, Taimur Ali Khan used to make a yearly trip to Gstaad and now, the ban on travel has restricted their fun, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. The actress often shares throwback pictures to reminisce those days of travel and happiness and she has done it again on her IG handle.

We had witnessed Kareena’s love for Gstaad on December 26, 2020, when she had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared some throwback pictures from her annual vacation with her adorable kid, Taimur Ali Khan and handsome husband, Saif Ali Khan to Gstaad. In the lovely pictures, Taimur had looked handsome as he could be seen donning a hoodie with 'Gstaad' written on the back of it. Among all the pictures, it was the family picture that had made its place straight into our hearts, and a huge credit goes to the little rockstar, Taimur, who had looked dapper in his red puffer jacket and snow goggles. Along with the pictures, Kareena had penned a short note in which she had revealed how badly she's missing Gstaad because of COVID-19 and had called Gstaad her 'love'. Her caption could be read as "Will miss you this year Gstaad my love."
Now, Kareena has again shared how she is missing her trips to Switzerland on her IG handle. Taking to her IG handle, Kareena shared a throwback picture from one of her trips, looking radiant in a black turtle neck top with almost no makeup and hair tied onto a bun. Her sunnies adjusted on her head totally gave the vacation vibes with the hills in the background. Sharing the picture, Kareena wondered if the days of vacation will ever return and wrote, “Apres ski days Will they return?” On this, her elder sister, Karisma Kapoor shared the same concern and showered her with love as she commented, “When, when you look stun.”
Kareena, Saif and Taimur had welcomed 2019 in Gstaad, Switzerland and the pictures from their vacation had surfaced online. With snow play and skiing in the lap of the Swiss Alps, their New Year pictures from Switzerland had made us all crave a vacation. Natasha Poonawalla, her husband, Adar Poonawalla and their two children, Cyrus and Darius, had also accompanied Kareena, Saif and Taimur to Europe. Natasha had shared a picture on her Instagram and had captioned it as "Sledding with the little ones! Our winter wonderland."

In an interview with Conde Nast magazine, Saif Ali Khan was asked if travel had changed after the birth of their son, Taimur Ali Khan. Saif had shared how the then-family of three used always end up travelling to Gstaad in winter and London in summer, however, with Taimur their entourage has increased. He had said, "Despite having the idea of trying different things, we’ve ended up (and my wife is quite annoyed about this) going to the same places and doing the same things every year—London in summer, Gstaad in winter, with some parts of India, like Rajasthan and Pataudi, in between. We would have liked to go to more places in Italy and France—and we will. But you know, there is also something comforting about going to the same places, because the people know you and the hotel feels like home. With Taimur, we also end up travelling with a bit of an entourage. We never travelled light, but after Taimur, we travel even heavier."
