Mehr’s doting parents never miss an opportunity to share how their lives have become meaningful after the arrival of Mehr. On December 26, 2020, Karan had taken to his IG handle and had shared a lovely father-daughter moment with Mehr. In the picture, Karan was seen playing peek-a-boo with Mehr. On January 1, 2021, Karan Patel gave a pleasant surprise to his fans by sharing a collage with childhood pictures of him, Ankita and Mehr. In the picture, Mehr looked like the exact replica of her star parents. Time flies in the blink of an eye and December 14, 2020 had marked Mehr Patel’s first birthday. To wish Mehr on her special day, her star parents, Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava had penned adorable wishes for her a day later. Thanking Mehr for choosing her as her mother and sharing a picture of the birthday girl from the celebrations, Ankita had written, “Meri Chidiya, Thank you for choosing me as your Mother! On the other hand, Karan had taken to his IG handle and had shared a picture from Mehr’s birthday celebration and had written, “Our princess, our lifeline, our #RabDiMehr is now a 1 year old. Karan dotes on his daughter, Mehr and it was on the occasion of his birthday (November 23, 2019), he had shared that his wife was going to give him the biggest birthday gift ever. In an interview with The Times of India, Karan had talked how Mehr and fatherhood had changed him. Stating it as the best feeling, Karan had shared, “Fatherhood is the best feeling in the world. We lost a daughter and then we got a daughter. I think she is back.
