Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai once lead, Karan Mehra and his singer-actress wifey, Nisha Rawal are one of the ‘It’ couples in the telly world. It was in November 2012 that Karan and Nisha had gotten married and after 5 years of marital bliss, this duo embraced parenthood as they welcomed their little cheesecake, Kavish Mehra. One of the first celeb kids to have his own ‘verified’ Instagram account, Kavish Mehra is a complete hit among fans. His star parents every now and then share glimpses of the little dude on his ‘own’ Instagram account and everytime we see him, our hearts blurt out a big loud out ‘awww’! It was on June 14, 2019, when Kavish Mehra had turned two-years-old and for the same, his parents had decorated the entire room with balloons and had also gotten a car-themed cake for the birthday baby. 6 days have passed since Kavish Mehra’s ‘terrible 2’ began and now, his daddy, Karan Mehra has taken to Instagram and shared an adorable video of his birthday gift! His car-themed birthday party, cake and gift reveals his obsession with cars. In the video, Kavish’s parents, Nisha and Karan are seeing opening a big silver gift box and bang came out an electric toy car for Kavish! With an unexplainable expression, Kavish’s happiness knew no bounds as soon as he saw the car and started fiddling with it. For his birthday, Kavish Mehra’s mommy, Nisha Rawal had posted a beautiful picture of the family of awesome-threesome along with a heartfelt message for her little boy. She had captioned the picture as, “To the little wonder who was made by God to make our life worthwhile, who made me ‘Mommy’ who made my better-half, ‘Daddy’, who blessed us with purity and substance like never-felt-before, who makes us complete and so u deserve to be celebrated my love, Happy Birthday Littloo @kavishmehra.”
Daddy Karan Mehra too, had posted beautiful message for his munchkin. The same could be read as, "The sound of your “TO YOU” shall always resonate in my ears till I breathe my last. Happy Birthday To You #kavishmehraturnstwo." Another series of pictures from his birthday celebration was posted on Kavish Mehra's Instagram page. Karan Mehra had once revealed why they had zeroed down on Kavish as his name. He had shared, “It's a derivation of our names. We were trying to amalgamate it since a long time. But we were forced into this situation one day when we were asked a name by the hospital and we had to give a name immediately for the birth certificate. So we decided upon this soon. Well, Kavish means king of poets and it also is another name of Lord Ganesh. We also perceived it in the way of a 'wish', like Karan and Nisha Ka wish is 'Kavish'. I loved all these meanings and immediately decided upon this.”
In an interview earlier, Karan Mehra had expressed his happiness on becoming a father and was quoted as saying, “It's different actually. The feeling of knowing that the baby is inside was different and now that it is out, the feeling is even more different. Like now that we are feeding him, cleaning him and all, we are getting to experience a lot. You know in case I go out and suddenly I am like, oh we have a baby at home. The feeling hasn't sunk in yet.”
Karan Mehra had further gone on to add, “Actually he did not come directly into my hands. When a baby is born, the next thing that hovers over everyone’s mind is who he/she resembles more. Similarly, when Karan Mehra was asked this question post Kavish Mehra’s birth, he had retorted, “Now I feel Kavish looks more like both of us. He looks more like me when I was young but now Nisha says that he resembles her. His hands, his ears, his toes are just like me. But honestly, at two weeks old, at that kind of phase, all the babies look the same to me.”
